The communication was miminal and there were delays. Several valuable items smashed, furniture and paintings broken. Washing machine not connected. I have no idea what to do here so will now need to get someone in. More exspense and delays with insurance. Packing was dismal.

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my goods during the recent move from New Zealand to Australia. Despite clearly marking several boxes as Fragile, it was evident that this instruction was completely ignored. Few of these boxes were stacked upside down when the door of the truck was opened before unloading to the house. As a result, I discovered numerous broken glassware items upon unpacking.
To make matters worse, several electrical appliances that were in perfect working condition prior to the move are now non-operational. This has created an added burden, as I have had to go out of my way to source repairers myself in order to process insurance claims. The insurance process itself has been unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating, requiring me to spend countless hours documenting damages, locating qualified service providers, and waiting on assessments.
For a professional service, I expected a far greater level of care and accountability. Sadly, this experience has left me with broken belongings, wasted time, and a great deal of frustration. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder to the company to treat customers’ property with the respect and care it deserves during international relocations.

Very disappointed with the packing and moving services. Boxes were not packed properly, items were damaged and items were all just dumped into boxes. Because the boxes were packed half the items all didn't fit. We still have boxes missing and our wedding canvas is still missing. Items were damaged and we didn't get paid out enough to cover the damages. Overall a very stressful move and shocking how our items were packed. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Seven months later and we still have not received our consignment. Requested a manager call back, still waiting. Despite using Conroy on numerous occasions successfully, we have been badly let down this time.

This move took from August until end of March. I received a text about delivery with no date. I received a call on 20/3/25 checking ok for delivery 21/3. I advised the girl I knew nothing about delivery on 21st and I was working and not home. She advised she'd look at another date and call me back. On return from work on the 21st I found the three large pieces of furniture and a box had been delivered and dumped in my bedroom! My nephew had happened to be in and knew nothing about this delivery. The furniture should have been put in the garage, instead I couldn't move in my room. I called the office and got a lovely lady in Brisbane. She tried to contact Sydney office - no luck there and advised she'd get someone to call me on Monday !! I'm still waiting for the call to explain why this was delivered without my approval. Service was awful . I got charged another $590 for custom clearance, which I wasn't advised about when booking this removal.

Items were packed in October 2024 and weren't received until March 2025. Goods were received in Sydney in December 2024.
My family used Conroy's for two moves from Tauranga to Cambridge. They are still unpacking as each box was a lucky dip on what was within the box. There were garage items included kitchen boxes and vice versa.
After 15 plus moves this was the worst by far.

Need big improvement of communication and also letting people know by phone that it will be done by train. It also took forever to come to my place and on top of that, people who picked up items were a disgrace, rough with my items, damaged a lot of things and on top of that, people dropping it off were better than ones that picked them up. My items took forever to come to Sydney and were very late to deliver on time that I thought were supposed to come.

Work done to pack our stuff was good. Crew that came to our place in Sydney was friendly. The shipment was done in a very unprofessional manner. We were told about an ETA and it took more than double to triple the time that was communicated to us. We had to shift from one hotel to another, to another place to accommodate ourselves. We have had so much personal headaches and financial damages due to this carelessness. We dont understand why Conroy removalists put our container on a transhipment vessel that stopped at so many locations / ports on its way to Dubai. As a result of this extra long time, some of our equipment got damaged. This is totally not acceptable and does not suit the repute of a company that was referred to us by someone. Work done by the local team in Dubai was also good. However, we have lost trust in this service for future due to the fact that we were kept in dark on the transhipment vessel shipment - maybe to save some bucks as these shipping lines are typically cheaper than the dedicated ones! Unless Conroy management team talks to us and gives assurity, we will not be recommending this service to anyone, rather will share our true experience with everyone who asks us. Four families from Australia are shifting to Middle East & Europe in the coming months and they asked us for removalists - we are not going to recommend Conroy becasue of the bad experience we have had!
Six and a half months we waited for delivery. They informed us maximum three months. Not any updates. When we called customer service they told us they don't know any updates.
