I have ticked communication as an area for improvement but this was only minor (just wanted an update on what was happening a bit more ie progress of my goods through the docks, customs and eta Townsville

On Time, Efficient and Careful
The experience was excellent. The team were on time, efficient and careful. The performed without any mishaps or complaints. I have moved many times and your handling was among the best. The team were good natured and flexible even learning some Italian along the way. Well done. Also the office staff were prompt, timely, accurate and attentive.
The only consideration was that the truck could not take all the empty boxes and papers as it had another load. this is a minor detail and does NOT detract from the service. The team offered that they would remove the materials at a later date upon my notification. This was reasonable and appropriate. I put the Removal as a area for improvement (see below) but i recognize that the circumstances were such that it was not possible. So not a major issue.
This is a busy time for the movers and it was all handled expertly.
Efficient, Inexpensive and Reliable
My experience with Conroy Removals was excellent. Conroy in Melbourne (and again in NZ) was efficient, inexpensive, and reliable. Everything has arrived in less time than expected with no hassles.

Fantastic Constant Updates
Excellent service from everyone we dealt with. The constant update emails were fantastic - thank you! If our belongings hadn't arrived over the xmas new year period I believe we would have received our goods in about 5 weeks max! It still arrived promptly anyway, so we were really pleased.

Very Happy With Team Conroy
We were very happy with the Conroy team. Everyone we dealt with at Conroy was helpful and did what they could to make this stressful time as easy as possible for us.
We found the delivery partner that Conroy engaged to facilitate our transit (Suddath Relocations) to be somewhat troublesome. We received emails requesting additional fees (although we had been quoted and paid a fixed price by Conroy). Conroy intervened and resolved this issue....or at least it appeared to have been resolved.
Once we arrived in the US we were again had some difficulty with Suddath. We were not getting clear information on how long it would take to receive our container. When we were finally notified that it was going to be available for collection we were notified on a Wednesday midday and told we had to collect at 9am on Friday (a day and half later). We asked if we could collect on Monday as we were unable to arrange moving help for the Friday but could do Thursday (next day) or Monday (2 working days later). Suddath then informed us that we could not pick up the next day it was Friday only OR if we wanted to collect on the Monday we would have to pay a months worth of storage. We found this ridiculous. In Australia we were told we would need to collect our container within a few days. We would expect that being notified on a Wednesday, collecting on Monday would be reasonable. This caused a lot of stress. After much back and forth with Suddath they finally agreed to Monday. The Suddath side of things made the experience less than ideal. That said we had no issue with Conroy I just think there needs to be a bit more clarification with the partner agencies to make sure Conroy's agreements are upheld and they partner companies are not trying to get more money out of Conroy's customers. Of particular mention we found 3 staff members at Conroy to be excellent - Luke Golledge, Kim Stevens and Sylvan. Also the packers that did the packing in Sydney packed exceptionally well. We did not have any items damaged or broken. Suddath managed the clearing of customs well there was no issues, nothing extra we needed to do and no request for inspection so we were very happy with that. Suddath also managed to get it cleared through customs quickly so there wasn't additonal delays on their part which was great. All of our issues with Suddath were around these requests for additional money.
