From the start we had great communication with Karen in arranging the dates for pick up, this followed through in great communication during the transit and arranging the drop off at the end location.
The team that arrived at my home to pack up where fantastic. They where courteous, helpful and very friendly. The team maintained positive communication throughout and when it looked like our container was going to be overfilled as I had more items than I had estimated, they worked with us to prioritize remaining items and arrange a secondary delivery for the overspill items.
When the container arrived in Perth the team that came out to unload and build the furniture where just as good as the team we had in Sydney. Would highly recommend Conroy Removals and if I ever need to move again will be engaging with them.
I am very much disappointed from the service. Things went very well from Sydney team (they been so awesome) but NZ team is so poor in communication and delayed delivery of my shippment. I received email from Susan West on April 02, 2021 which was 17 days ago, saying "received shipping container at Napier Port, we will uplift cargo and trasnport to the warehouse for delivery to Wellington". Since then I am following up but no response from NZ team. Due to this poor service, my family is badly impacted because we already bought 10% of the things that we already shipped and suppose to get in due time frame of 5 weeks. I will be raising my concern to the consumer tribunal in AU/NZ.
Just wanted to let you know how well today’s uplift went. The team was on time, friendly, helpful and very competent. They certainly knew what they were doing! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thank you and the team for making this stressful time just that little bit easier
The service provided in Australia was great. Unfortunaly the container was delayed 7 weeks but that it is not a bad reflection of the service provided in Australia but rather a transport issue from origin which I am very dissatisfied with.
This is our fourth time of using Conroy's and am very happy with their service lovely lady Ronda at the administration a pleasure to work with her and the packers were excellent well organised.
While the move itself was performed well and with no damage to a very precious piano, I was trying to coordinate from interstate and I do have concerns with the communication lapses as follows;
I was asked to provide information i had already completed
Informed I had to pay the invoice when it hadn't actually been sent
Pickup staff went to an address other than the one I had provided (I think someone just googled my storage unit and went to the first address they saw) then called me to say that my access code wouldn't work. It took half an hour to figure out that they hadn't gone to the address I issued.
Pickup staff called to "confirm" that only some of my items were to be packed (this was incorrect, the entire storage unit was to be packed up - This had been made clear at the time of booking)
All in all I had a great result, but it was unnecessarily stressful and anxiety provoking in the leadup to delivery. I was particularly impressed with the care with which everything was loaded and unloaded.
The team operated like a well oiled machine right from the initial quote. Everything was labelled, documented, wrapped and packed,fast and efficiently. Very happy with the service!
I was mostly happy with the service. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I felt totally let down though when the arrival dates kept getting pushed out, nobody called to tell me the ship had stopped in Melbourne for 2 weeks. I had to chase this information myself.
When finally our shipment was ready for delivery, after paying $15,000 for the total shipment, it was then all held up for a $700 payment for items to be treated/disposed. These items were not even included in the shipment delivery so I felt this was a completely unnecessary delay!
$130 to dispose of a christmas pine cone?? Really? This is an outrageous price given that the items are not even incinerated but simply put in a rubbish bag and thrown out. It would be super helpful for your packing crews to suggest AT THE TIME OF PACKING, that christmas decorations be re-checked for pine cones. It appears this is a regular income source from unknowing clients and would sure be appreciated by us all if someone was able to provide a heads up before the pine cones get packed into the container.
Despite my frustrations I would use Conroys again. The guys who packed our items did a great job and everything arrived safely. The guys who delivered our items where fabulous, unwrapping, placing and came back to collect the boxes/wrapping paper later in the week after we had finished the unpacking. Very professional crews.
