Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI was told to use Conroys and I have recommended them to others embarking on their relocation. The crew were great and Jason who quoted on our goods was also great but the customer services from office personnel has been a bit disappointing , lack of personal service and unhelpful . Karen in Australia was very transactional, never called me just sent me generic emails . Mandeep friendlier and more responsive , again emails are very transactional but no negative feedback for her . I am from the private market and not a corporate move but you should have the same service between corporate and private . A little more care would go a long way . My car has a big scratch and Conroys don't care and the glass table that was smashed , same. Policy aside it's how you communicate with your customer . Mike Taane could at least pick up the phone and explain why my insurance claims Have been rejected . I paid for the service and sadly apart from the crew at both ends I can't say I'd use Conroys or recommend them after my experience.
Only one comment: a phone call was received from your office to confirm delivery at 8:30am however delivery did not arrive until 9:45am as the wrong address was supplied to the driver. In general however, we were very happy with your services and would certainly recommend it to other people.
All in all very happy. The two guys were terrific, friendly and hard working. 2 bits of feedback. 1. a little more communication around what time the truck would get there. I had been asking multiple times for a confirmation but didn't hear until the day before. 2. we were told their would be a TV box for our flat screen but upon arrival the guys said there was one available. In the end they did a great job protecting the TV but I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't worried given I made a point at the time of booking around a box for the TV.
They are only 2 small criticisms. We are very happy overall. Thank you.
Efficient, Happy, Helpful crew I was amazed how they fit a truck with inches to spare on either side. I'll always recommend Conroy's ❤️
Only one issue to mention was that our cargo was cleared on 15th January and could not be delivered until 28th Jan, nearly a two week delay.
The furniture arrived in good condition. On the other hand, during the delivery, the mover came alone, he was in pain because he had hurt his ankle and had back pain (the mover was awesome and tried his best, so I am not complaining about him but about the fact that we had only one person). My husband, who has serious back problems himself, had to help him carry heavy furniture into the house. I have to admit that I have moved many times and have never seen a mover deliver the goods unaccompanied. Because of that I don’t think I could recommend your company.
You were always quick to reply for requests for information and provided timely updates about status of my incoming shipment. In addition, the removalists who delivered the goods to our home were wonderful -- professional and very friendly. Overall a great experience and I have used a LOT of removalists over the years! Thank you.
The initial experience with sales and having a quote done was fantastic. Despite a small hiccough which led to sales being late for the quote, we were happy with the service. Communication leading up to packing day was sometimes very good and sometimes very bad. No phone calls were returned, and only some emails replied to. But if you got through to someone on the phone they were all very helpful. Packing day did not go as promised. We were told we would have multiple packers and uplift would start on the first day. We were then told we would have only one packer, no uplift on the first day. We expressed concern with only one packer and were reassured it would be fine. It was not. The packer came back with help on the second day (the day planned for uplift). Uplift then happened on a third day which we were promised would not be required, and thus had not taken into account when planning leave from work etc. Uplift was quick, the packers and movers on that day were brilliant, and we felt as though our belongings were being taken good care of.
Our goods arrived in New Zealand with a roughly accurate timeframe despite Covid-19. When everything was delivered the packaging on many things had been damaged. Our larger items were being dragged along the ground. Heavy boxes were stacked on top of delicate items like our TV. Packaging had been removed from the weightlifting equipment and stickers placed directly onto the equipment, I don't even know how to get these labels off but they're stuck onto multiple items really well. We were told some items were still being cleared by MPI. We were then told that they were actually already cleared but they had just forgotton to pack them onto the truck. When this second delivery happened they were hours late and didnt care.
We also had a car moved. We were really impressed with the care taken by Sydney when they received the car. However on arrival to New Zealand we could see issues. Conroys was informed that the car would not start, however someone had clearly tried to. Additionally, there is a small scuff mark that was not there before.
Really really disappointed with the lack of care taken with our belongings, and with organisation/honesty with communication. We had had a good experience with Conroys years ago, and can safely say that the quality of care and business has gone downhill since then
From Conroy’s side, we did have a bit of a communication issue at the start. Struggled a little to get feedback and responses but with that said once we established a repour with Zarina things seemed to go a little better. I would have liked a little more upfront information from Conroy especially when our goods went into quarantine, instead of us going back and forth needing to drag information out. I am a very straight forward person and believe that if you give me what I need then I wont need to bother you. Non-the-less it was not all bad. When inspections were complete operations immediately got hold of us to arrange delivery and it happened as soon as the goods were ready. Dennis, Steve and Colin were the team of guys that came to deliver and they were wonderful. Efficiently unpacked the truck and as each box was unloaded it was marked off as received, by myself and the team leader. These guys made the afternoon not only with their professionalism but also had a few laughs in between and made us feel welcome.
I sing praises to both you and Execu Move for exceptional service, it is not easy putting your hard worked for belongings into someone else hands and not seeing it for 3 months, so Thank you once again.
