Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersThe only thing that could have been improved was the labeling and organisation of the packing. Since it was a local move it wasn't a huge issue, but if we were moving overseas that would have probably created a lot of damaged goods in transit.
Guys we're great but were a little tired on the second day. We are missing a lamp and our vacuum cleaner (all were boxed but we haven't got them here), my wife will ring Karen today.
The guys where very adaptable to the condition of home they did a awesome job and so proud of them hopefully they got paid overtime as it was a long day
Good job but in a bit of a rush to unload truck, nearly damaged my jarrah table.
96 days since packing in cobram Victoria Australia... moving to Hamilton NZ. Still waiting for our household to be delivered. Packers and movers were exceptional... nz side ... very ordinary. Our container was unloaded in tauraunga and cleared 25 days ago .... still not delivered.. yet we had to pay $18k weeks before we could even be packed up ... certainly not the same company we moved to Australia with 15 years ago . Very disappointed.. my advice shop around.
Professional, courteous and timely responses to all my questions. The removal guys were great. I will defintely use Conroy's again. Thanks!
We were extremely disappointed in the way a number of our items arrived on delivery - damage inlcuded:
Miners Couch - two legs broken off and one arm rest broken at the base
Crystal Cabined - leadlight/glass panels on the left hand side all pushed in and lying on the floor of the cabinet, RHS pushed in and one front leg broken off
Cedar Chiffonair - top and drawer broken
Green wash stand, a piece broken off the top
Dresser top - two pieces broken off
Art work - large black and orange horses - damage on one corner and an eye missing from one of the horses
Small timber/glass cabinet - corner of one pane of glass damaged and one pane pushed in
Dressing Table - a number of scratches
In the front of the second container that was 2/3 full of our items there was an item (small oblong box containing a toy train) that did not belong to us, suggesting that our items (the damaged ones) had been removed and repacked - insufficiently to protect them. Also we queried an item - part of the platform for a ladder - and this was delivered to us later in the day - it was found at the Ipswich depot.
RE our account, the insurance was not incliuded on the invoice for the original payment and as we were stressed with the move, we overlooked that this had not been included. Our friends who recommended you advised us that they were continually reminded about insurance, This was not the case in our situation.
The Conroy personnel who unloaded our goods were horrified at the lack of care in the packing of the damaged items, especially the crystal cabinet that should have been packed inside with cardboard to protect the leadlight panels and the miners couch that should have been packed to avoid the damage that has occurred. It is going to cost us considerable to have the damaged items repaired.
As we are still unpacking, there are a couple of items we have not sighted, but until all is unpacked (our belongings are in three locations - house, garage and 3 bay shed) we are not 100% sure they are missing.
We were impressed with the packing at our Victorian location, and the care of the unloading, but extremely disappointed in the damage to the items listed above and the lack of consultation about insurance.
Everything got to me the same way it was packaged. Very pleased.
