Conroy was subcontracted by Relo UK for the Australian leg of my delivery of my goods from London to Australia. My review of my overall experience relates more to ReloUK than Conroy - please see the following: http://www.removalreviews.co.uk/movers/relouk-639
It took me quite a large number of emails with Conroy to get to the bottom of what the charge from Conroy to ReloUK related to. The communication was somewhat better over the phone.

Goods cleared customs 2 weeks ago. Other than a demand for payment of GST + duty (which I did the next day), have not heard a single thing about when my items will be delivered. Have left voicemail, e-mails and still nothing. I'm pretty much consigned myself to the fact that I won't see my goods again.

It's been about 3 weeks since I have heard anything about our furniture after 4 emails and a few phone calls we are finally told our stuff is still waiting for quarrintine inspection then get a phone call to say it wont be delivered for 2 weeks at the earliest sorry not good enough. Extremely pleased with the shifting team. They were friendly, incredibly helpful and extremely hard working. No request was too much and they took incredible care with our belongings. Everything was placed exactly where we wanted it and nothing at all was damaged.
I felt there was a lack of disclosure as I was not advised of the high custom costs upon arrival of the goods at destination. I found the staff in Sydney and destination very attentive - goods arrived safely
