The move took longer than originally expected, I believe as some staff were off on that day.
Lance worked on his own for most of the day, and was excellent. I wanted to personally highlight that Lance did a great job.
The team was responsive, professional, and very helpful. Liz was absolutely amazing working with us as we juggled an interstate move on top of an international move. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Conroy!
It wasn't the quality service I experienced last time I used conroys. The Christchurch pick up staff did not know what they were doing and two of them spent time on the toilet. I ended up showing them how to pack.
On arrival in Melbourne I received a survey not a customs clearance. The man delivering wasn't told their were stairs although I had told the admin staff this. He got grumpy and I ended up with two breakages.
Admin staff seemed great but you need to train and improve delivery service.
Really good service right up to the point of delivery where instructions weren't followed which resulted in concern about the weather unneccasarily as it turned out. The end result was fine and no issues however perhaps more interaction between HO and last mile team.
Was kept well informed during the whole pick up to drop off , my items where also kept in storage for 3 months with Conroy till i came back from Europe i would use conroy again.
Your service from start to end was fantastic. Your communicaton was great and on time and your staff delivering our goods were friendly and professional. Thank you for your great service.
Have to say the service I have received in NZ from Debbie Beech and Rebecca Simpson from the very first day that i dropped in and purchased some boxes right through to departure to Australia was on-point, thank you both for the ease of information, the assistance, assurance and great communication up to leaving the country - I thank you. Here in Australia the service didn't change from this, amazing communication, regular updates via the tracking system, friendly discussions when i was trying to find out when the boxes were to be delivered. And in delivery day the two gents that arrived were very quick, careful and were done very quickly. Thank you Conroys team!
Coffee table arrived with broken leg. Table had been repaired in past, so weak but I would expect some communication that it was broken. The table was placed face down with broken leg inside so delivery guys understood it was broken. Given it was homemade and old, I don't expect any compensation.

Things were very well executed on the USA side; and having the tracker was marvelous for following where our belongs were.
I'll be honest, I wasn't impressed with how things went here on the Australian side in Brisbane. Conroy reached out and requested an additional $271 for a complex move (no elevator), which was fine. But when the movers arrived (two men in their late 50's) they were totally unprepared to do a non-elevator move. They weren't even told there would be stairs, so there was no coordination between Conroy's management and their movers. This was definitely not a two man job; more like 3 or maybe even 4. Frankly, because they were so exhausted and barely able to manage the move, we didn't feel comfortable specifying which room or location of where to move furniture or boxes; so we ended up with a pile of boxes all stacked up in the living room. Which is now proving much more difficult than if items were correctly distributed to their respective location.
It was clear to me that on the USA side, things would be boxed up, but wasn't made clear of how unpacking would be dealt with on the Ozzie side. The movers here complained that their company was screwing them out of the $271 (and had done so on previous moves), so I ended up texting a receipt of payment to the movers so they could lodge a request with their management to obtain this as a tip/compensation for the complex move. Somewhat unprofessional that the client had to become involved in managing the moving company to make sure the movers received correct compensation. I wouldn't recommend Conroy as a partner.
