"Overall Good Service"
Overall good service, thank you very much.
Questions I raised were responded to in a timely fashion and goods handled with care. Only 1 item was damaged, but not due to handling by Conroy.
The only thing I missed was proactive communication about status of my consignment. For example, consignment was estimated to arrive mid-april, but it was not until after I asked myself that I found out that the ship with my consignment had actually arrived. It would be useful to receive a quick note on status upon certain milestones, or in case of any delays.
"The frequency of updates was poor"
Although your staff were friendly enough, the frequency of updates was poor, we had to chase everytime around where our goods were, what the ETA for delivery was and the updates when recieved were sketchy at best with a generic answer meanign nothing often offered.
I also beleive the costs advised to us were not clear up front, along with the overall process.

"communication to customer service was great"
The only thing I would recommend is to give more information in regards to quarantine processes. Eg. Conroy: oh so your taking your lawn mower to Australia, just so you know, you should get it steam cleaned, cause it might not pass quarantine inspection upon arrival to Australia. Customer: Ok thanks for telling me that, we actually have a close friend who does that, so I'll get that done before the conroy truck gets here. I do understand that there may have been some information in a pamphlet from conroy, and I for sure should have read this more carefully, however, the move was such an extremely stressful period that this was overlooked. It would have been an even better service had someone told me this personally at some stage throughout the whole process. And it would have saved me nearly $400. Besides the above, everything else, from communication to customer service was great.

The over all service was of high standard, and professionalism. The people on the other end of the phone were a pleasure to deal with. The impression they gave me was that no job is too big, and if any problems arise they will solve them with great efficacy. Highly recommend This company for further removals.
"Couple of items damaged"
We had a couple of items damaged(rug, leather sofa) which the delivery guys took photos of.
We haven't yet opened all the boxes.
Can you advise the process of claiming for these items. We had insurance.

"Great service & Great people"
Great service & Great people who are very easy to deal with at any time during the move. Thank you everyone.
we originally went with conroys as we found them cheap and friendly but as we went on we encountered more and more problems. we very carefully wrote a very detailed packing list of what we had packed ourselves with very very detailed contents.the packers discarded this and just filled in another one with their own numbering and their descriptions were very basic,upon arrival we had to pay $600 to MAF for inspections on a lot of items that didnt need inspection as some have been inspected 4 times before in moves internationally this was all explained in our packing list but not the one the packers did.upon arrival none of the bigger items were unpacked or put back together which is a service we had paid for, we did this all ourself. when we unpacked our boxes many of them had rubbish from the packers inside like empty tape rolls or backing from labeling stickers.there were at least 15 empty tape rolls packed with our stuff this is a terrible practice our stuff is important to us and is not a rubbish bin and doesnt deserve to be packed alongside rubbish.we paid good money for our stuff to be shipped not to ship rubbish.our items have also turned up with dents in stuff, damaged boxes and ripped packing so it has obviosly been treated very harshly and we have had breakages as a result.
