My gear left me from Brisbane on the 3rd October 2023 and as off today 8th January 2024 I still have not received it. Consistant emails an example is.
The NYK Futago is due to discharge the container at Tauranga and then the container will be loaded onto the Wellington bound vessel. Unfortunately the Berth date for the NYK Futago has moved out (only by a couple of days) and as such it won’t meet the intended Wellington boat and has been scheduled onto the next available one. A phone call in my case would have appeased me so much more than the occasional email.
So then it sits in Tauranga from 25th November until the 16th December. A phone call to let me know what was happening would have been so much better. Then came Christmas I was assured once again by email that you were working threw. My contact person then goes on holiday so another delay. Then MPI is using limited staff another delay. Now I am still waiting again to hear from you when you might deliver. Not great customer service at all. Not sure what condition my freight will be in, will check when I finally get it hopefully in the near future.
Several items broken including photo frames, family heirloom bowl and trophy. All not replaceable :(
Shipping was at least a month late then a muck around about timing on the day too. Maybe that couldn't have been helped but more care with my things could have.
Shocking how my items were treated. the state that items were sent was photographed and the state that was received was in a shocking state and photos / videos as evidence. I would never use conroys to shift any items again. The customer service provided by Liz was fantastic but sadly the staff of your operations teams have no care or concern for items shipped. The delivery drivers used in Melbourne dropped items on to the trolly jack and this has been videoed so if you want to see footage happy to show but sadly I have no faith in a response but will be lodging an insurance claim for negligence.
Lots of my China crockery was broken. Glass of the display cabinet was broken.. My tall ceramic lampshade was broken. Leather sofa was torn.
Things were not packed correctly. One of the beds cannot be assembled due to missing pieces. They just left it and went saying it was not their job to reassemble.
when I booked and paid for the service in Auckland it included everything.
Very disappointed to say the least.
We had a booked removal to move our 3 bedroom house to our new house less than 7Km away. I received a phone call the day prior saying they will be on site no later than 0730, the removalist didnt arrive until 0825. Once they were on site they began to work and asked what wasn't to be moved, I explained in detail what wasn't to be moved. As I have a newborn I moved my child and wife to our new residence. On return to the house that was being packed up one removliest had helped themself to cutlery to eat his breakfast they had also helped themself to coffee in the coffee machine. I had an appointment I had to attend to and I explained to call me with any questions while I was away from site. I was told it was okay for me to stay at the new residence. They arrived shortly after 1330 and started to unload. They started to move the cot into the nursery and in doing so the dented the roof and then refused to move the cot. they then decided to place all the boxes in the living room as it was easier and quicker for them as they wanted an early finish. At around 1430 I was out the front speaking to one removalist as they had stopped for a break and noticed one of them acting very strange (high to there face).As I had a new born and didn't feel comfortable with him in my house I helped them to finish the removal as quick as possible. I returned to the residence that we had moved out of to find that they had left half the kitchen and had moved items from other rooms and placed them into the pile that we said wasn't to be moved. Outside there was items that had tried to be moved and then left as it was a to hard a job. When called and asked as to why they hadn't been moved the reply was "they told us not to move them" and that it was my fault as an ex defence member that I should have known! I was able to manage to get two removalist to come back and remove the remaining items, this was extremely difficult as the response was they did us a favour by moving 42 square meters and we were only quoted 30 square meters. If anyone reading this is wanting to use this company wear a body camera as they cut corners and place all blame back on the people moving.
Caused Damage
Caused damage to a suitcase and decided to hide the damage by placing broken handle in washing hamper. Also damaged polished floorboards and decided to hide by placing chair over scratch.
The inability to take ownership or responsibility for damage and rude email topped it all off.
We very rarely leave negative feedback but decided that this was our only recourse after we gave you guys every opportunity to make things right.
Very Poorly Handled
The items were very poorly handled right from the beginning. The movers did not package our items well. We moved our car to Australia and this was heavily damaged. Even though the car was insured, the amount paid by Conroy was not enough to fix the damages and I had to pay more from my pocket for the damages caused by Conroy. Many of our household goods, such as furniture, cots, and other units were either completely broken or heavily damaged. Some items we had to throw away as it is not repairable. I would definitely not recommend it. More than happy to show the proof of damages. Even though I paid Insurance for my household goods, Conroy has done nothing about the damages that were caused by them. Overall it's not the great customer service I have experienced and is very disappointing service.
Worst Service
Worst service lost our table went weeks without any communication until we contacted them and then the table turns up with bent legs and scratched.
Still I didn't receive my Courier here in New Jersey.
Hi, I have chosen Conroy because it was assured to me that I can ship my items by end of September. I kept checking with the salesperson and was assured it would go as planned only to be told, no sorry its now going end of October, we lost a whole month and careful planning so our gear arrived after christmas, so not happy. Then you person in Europe was battering me with email with irrelevant things. I confirmed multiple time that what I provided was sufficient and clear but it was a complete nightmare. Of course what I provided was enough and no issue with customs.
