Just general lack of care and empathy on both packing and delivery which resulted in damage to fragile items.
Items were lost, and others were damaged. None told me if not only at the very end of the service. I called, but no supports or a phone call back.
Moreover, the wait for the delivery has been too long, and I needed to chase my stuff with several phone calls and emails.
I hope the situation may be resolved positively and that the companies involved in the transport of my stuff at any stage may be willing to help and confirm their reputation.

We have had a terrible experience with Conroys at the NZ end when we had somebody who is not specialised in packing manage our packing which resulted in our shipment having an overflow beyond what we had been quoted for. We did not find out about the overflow until a week after the final container was packed and the shop had set sail for Australia. This was despite the fact that we had been at the depot a few days after the container was sealed and sent to the port. We were then asked to pay $6,500 to pay for the overflow to be transported to Australia. Apart from the fact that we weren't told about this when we could have done something about it, the only reason we had an overflow was because of the wrong people being assigned tot he job. We shouldn't have to pay for Conroy's failures and most certainly should have been advised the moment that an overflow was identified, not a week later when the ship had already sailed and we had left NZ. This was a rort with Conroy accepting no responsibility for multiple failures. Do not use this company! On delivery in Brisbane, the delivery men complained about anything we asked for, despite the fact that we saved them so much work by not having to unwrap 90% of the furniture and only having to load the boxes off the truck without putting them into position.
First to start with the positive, initially communication for booking was fantastic. The crew that turned up for the initial uplift were extremely professional.
Unfortunatly on delivery of my goods one of the sofa parts (nr 13 was missing). It seems that this never left Australia, and I struggle to understand how this was missed on every inventory. The communication regarding the missing sofa part has been almost non existent, I never get call backs and when I chase it up I am always told they will get back to me.
When liaising with my consultant, it was confirmed multiple times that the delivery date was the Tuesday the 4th of October as that was the date we were arriving after our big 4 day driving journey over and one of the main reasons we used the delivery service was to ensure we had a bed and a fridge when we arrived. When it was getting close to the business day ending and I'd heard nothing from the company updating me on when my things would be delivered, I rang. My consultant was alarmed that I hadn't had any contact and stated that I should have. She tried to get in contact with someone here, Perth, but there was no communication. So then we had to organise a place to stay seeing now we had been inconvenienced by not receiving our things on the expected day. The consultant said she'd call first thing the next day. I received a call at midday, she had completely changed her tune stating that it would be delivered on the Friday (3 days away). I was extremely disappointed by her justification that to have this service I would've needed to have paid more to have had it delivered on the specific day. I laughed in bitter disgust as she's always been my consultant and she had NEVER said this to me. Cheers for doing your job, great communication. So now I also had to find accommodation for the next two nights which we really did not expect. The consultant again gave no concern to the fact that we were now having to fund these extra expenses because of there clear incompetence. Absolutely disgusting and I would never recommend your services again. It's a shame as the delivery men were always kind, friendly and helpful and they are not the problem. Do better.

About my contact and response from Conroy I can only say that there has always been a quick response on any query.My shipment is a completely different story. I have not been able to check on the everything that has arrived but I am devastated at the damage that I have found and the very badly packed antic lamp that is irreplaceable after having stressed about that particular item I was hoping that it would be ok but not so. Totally smashed and the box looked as if it had been dropped or thrown. When I have everything unpacked I will be forwarding pictures and claim form
Conroys were absolutely appalling, they left two lovely packers with not enough time in NZ to do the packing so we had to leave our house with them still packing. The area manager was awesome and assured us he would oversee things as we had to get to the airport. Our furniture finally arrived in Australia 4 months later but we did consider Covid delays responsible for this. When we opened our boxes we found 2 broken TVs, broken canvas, broken frames, broken mirrors oh and two lost boxes. This is when the fun really began. The ladies we had dealt with up to this point were lovely then the matter was handed over to the claims manager in their insurance section, customer service then flew out the window, we were accused of lying, penalised for being honest, told we couldn't claim for replacement value at the country of destination as per the policy, the only reason seemed to be because it was more than we paid 8 years ago. We escalated to the general manager who frankly probably cares more about her breakfast choices than she cared about us being treated badly by here staff or being left out of pocket and still with two boxes missing. To this day we are still out of pocket as we will have to pay more for a TV than they will pay despite it being under 10 years old, we still have two boxes missing which they won't consider payment for as they wrote down the contents wrong and we can't prove what was in there and we we say we are missing things we are told to prove it and also have been told that and I quote 'Our packers did not see those' But turned out when they actually asked the packers, they had seen the items but no apology.
So if you are considering using Conroys, DON'T unless you want your furniture broken and then most of your claims for replacement items ignored or denied or unless you can prove purchase and packing for every item you have ever owned. The real issue here is that there is nowhere to go with your issue as the top management will do nothing apart from ignore what they don't like and offer no help whatsoever.
Lance, the guy responsible for delivering the boxes, was very professional and responsible. I cannot speak more highly of him. I found dealing with management frustrating. The idea that it is harder to use a lift than carry boxes up a flight of stairs is ludicrous. To gouge extra money is unacceptable.
