Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersApparently the shipment arrived at the Wellington depot on 08/02/2022, and were waiting to be unloaded and quarantinechecked. My belongings still have not been delivered, nor have I had any communication since above mentioned date. So I am pretty unhappy to put it politely
You lost one of the pecies of a shipment of 4 peices and only after calling you followed up and found the item. Still waiting on feedback on when you are going to deliver the item.
Not only did my stuff to 7 weeks to get to Me, my bed mattress is lost and was never put on my list of items, my headboard and footboard to my bed has dents and scratches over it ,on my bedside table one of the legs has come off . So not im not very impressed with the move ,and I still waiting to hear where my mattress is guess I'm going to have to look at putting a insurance claim im with yous
I have some heavy items that I was told would be no problem to move from New Zealand to Australia. I still haven't received my items almost 4 months later. I was told they had all the equipment needed to lift and deliver such items. They arrived at my house with my items and had no way of getting them off of the truck. How do you expect your delivery driver to get something off of his truck at the delivery location that you had to use a forklift to get on the truck? So I had to watch them leave with my items they couldn't get off the truck. Now almost a week later and they never return my phone calls. One of the items they have is a toolbox which I need for work. I'm not being unreasonable. These are services they said they could provide. I even paid extra for heavy items. Not sure what that paid for since they don't have the equipment to deliver heavy items.

If the commercial team was very good, the packing has been terrible. Except for the team leader on site who obviously was a professional, the rest of the team did a disgusting job. Things got packing with no care ally all. For instance, but not only: soaps were not wrapped and leaked in the box on our belongings, removalists' rubbish got thrown in the box with our belongings, hard squashed under books, clothes throws in the box instead of placing the piles of clothes netly, one bed fame damaged, an so on. Removalist at destination were as chocked as me of the poor work done at packing. i am terribly disappointed and fell abused.
i will never neither use Conroy Removals anymore not recommend their services, quite the opposite actually.

Missing items. Fridge has been deeply scratched and it turned up broken. Delivery guys rude.

- called multiple times for updates on shipment, was told on 4 seperate occasions I would receive a call back to advise me of updates,
-never heard back
- had to continually reach out, eventually asked for direct number of Sydney manager who was very helpful and delivered the items the next day
- when received items received bed frame was scratched in multiple places and parts had the frame had been further dis assembled and screws had been damaged
- total process took almost a month and goods were not received in the same condition I dropped them off in, no communication about when I would receive items even when I reached out multiple times across a period of a week
When I first contacted Conroy Brisbane I was told they don't hire containers tht I had to buy one so all up including packing etc I was under the impression I owned a 20ft container oh how wrong was I apparently I picked up the conversation wrong.
I was under this impression for 12 mths then I was told by Conroy NZ tht all my stuff was being delivered by truck I was quite taken bk by this and was told to contact Conroy Brisbane and spoke to a salesman but of course I'm wrong and picked him up wrong to which he should have said u have brought the space of the 20ft container not the container well he NEVER said tht originally.
so I'm not a happy customer at all as I didn't even pack a whole house to move granted I filled the container.
in my eyes and others I should be in titled to what I paid for,I have asked for original itemised receipts to which I know the first quotes had container on them etc BUT of course I haven't been given these just the receipts of payments.
I do have emails but did have phone calls as well the first quote stated tht container would be delivered to my NZ address so reall what does tht tell u?

Very confusing from start to finish. I ended up paying for 7cbm more than my original request due to uncertainty of volume, nobody discussed this with me. The packers just mentioned that what they have to pack is is much less than the container size. I never were asked to sign consignment form, so missing items are just not found. On delivery a large 2m TV table was carried into my house, totally unwrapped. When I informed the man that it wasn't mine, I was told it was as it came with .my container, however on checking the consignment list, he saw it wasn't there. When they finished emptying the truck and unpack my outdoor furniture, there was no chairs or footrests. Only 2 tables and 3 boxes of cushions. Again I was told that there were no chairsor footrest or even outdoor furniture on my list- yet the tavle and cushions arrived. Dealing with Conroy Auckland has been stressful and unnecessary unkind. They are very much aware that the insurance excess is $5000, do if they loose or damage something with less replacement value- they simply don't care. Very very disappointing.
It has not been a great experience dealing with Conroy removals. The most helpfull and friendly staff was the guys delivering the items from the container to our property.
The amount of emails I've had to send to follow up and get more information about the process has been crazy.
When you call operations you don't get a response. Today I called sales as you can't run a business if you not making sales and got a very helpfull lady that could share more information about when the boxes that had been unpacked can be collected.
Overall not a great a experience.
