Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI liked your service however I have a concern regarding my package.i had very clearly mentioned way back in Dubai that I have a bed to be assembled and I was promised that it would be taken care of but now I am told I have to pay for it.
This is very disappointing.
The order of the delivery was a problem in that I have more stuff than will fit easily into the space I ended up with. My furniture came in a second load and the boxes first. Now I have to move boxes from behind furniture and from in front of cupboards on my own ( I'm a nearly 60 year old short woman). The people picking up and delivering were nice especially at the Townsville end.
The men who delivered were lovely but you should have more crew for unpacking and reassembly of items. Only one person was inadequate for that aspect of the service that we paid for. The property was left tidily and they were polite and professional.
Staff were reluctant to work at a reasonable. Too much time on phone.
Hi, I seriously thought about this feeback. I have moved interstate multiple times in my adult life, this is the first time i have used Conroys. In terms of getting the quote. 10/10 was timely and responsive, polite and helpful. The boys (men) that did the uplift were in the top 3 I have ever dealt with (possibly number 1), they were incredibly respectful and helpful, they also appeared to take care of my belongings. The drop off was equally good, the men were friendly and quick, really appreciated their presence.
But the communication in the middle was appalling - and this nearly made me say no to recommending or using in the future. I realise now that the service was economy and what this meant and i also realise i could have clicked on this in the quote to read what this meant in more detail. However, the person who did the quote responded with the delivery would take 'about two weeks' and i took that as gospel. So when i started to contact Conroys to get an estimate my queries either went unanswered or dismissed. It wasnt until i sent an email stating i would contact the ombudsman to get some answers that i received a detailed email of where my belongings were and when they would be delivered. The quote as attached and i then noticed the high lighted text on 'economy' and read the attached.
I just needed this possibly spoon fed - but explained in more detail. I didnt really care too much when my belongings would be here, i did know it wasnt going to be a quick delivery, but i felt very ignored and dismissed and that could have easily been prevented with a response and explanation.
Though the delivery was completed, there was poor communication of dates throughout the process. It was not made clear when our good would be accessible, so we ended up paying $2400 in dead rent while waiting for our goods to arrive. Being more clear from the outset and discussing what dates a pick up should be arranged such that our goods will be accesible when we need them to be would have helped.
I would highly recommend the Australian side!! Janelle and the boys were above amazing! the New Zealand side how ever has been totally rubbish. Next to no communication. Our stuff was bio cleared 2 weeks ago. And still no delivery date. No replies. I have a small family that has a empty house and we are depending on conroys to provide a quick and efficient turn around with no luck. ( nz side only ).

Some stuffs like toys and blanket are not my package, I do not know how these stuffs are in this delievery.

Your international services not the best for such a small load the communication could do with some improvement.. Especially NZ side of things....
