There was a curved gaming monitor that was taken out of the box and was missing. The box arrived opened and empty.
Took alot of time to sort similar items together to ease unpacking and when packed they mixed all the items together in a box, causing additional work when unpacking e.g. glasses, mixed with pots, mixed with electrical cables, mixed with bowls etc in one box instead of 1 box with glasses, 1 with pots, etc.
Also, communication was difficult with the Brisbane office, they never returned our calls or messages and only responded to emails sometimes.. this could be improved especially when looking for an update on delivery or customs clearance.
We only received 18 hours notice that our delivery was coming the next morning and this was difficult to take time off work to be home for delivery, it would have been better with at least 48 hours or longer notice of delivery.
On a positive note the guys who delivered in Brisbane were great, helpful and efficient.
The delivery team were amazing, couldn't fault them!
I was frustrated with the admin team as I was being told one thing in the UK and something else in Australia.
Inconsistent care taken with our removals. No interest in feedback and not an issue as insurance covers any breakages
Your insurance form is kind of broken and your customer service staff had to really handhold me through filling it out because the fields aren't visible in browser. I used multiple browsers and devices before we figured out the problem.
I was asked for a delivery date for my items and it wasn't acknowledged and the items came several days later, the staff made no justification or apology for this. Why ask me in the quote if you have no intention of fulfuliing that? Seems a bit pointless.
Also my boxes clearly had markings such as "FRAGILE" "THIS WAY UP" and "DON'T STACK ON TOP OF THIS" which were apparently ignored upon delivery.
I paid for insurance for items which are boxed and delivered to an Australian address while I'm overseas for two years. So when I get back I can unbox to see if anything's broken by which time my insurance is likely invalid? Just a bit frustrated here.
The staff were reliable to reply to emails but overall a bit of a clunky experience. I will use other services in the future.
For most of the process there were no issues. However I was asked to complete a form again as it was deemed fuzzy - this should have been identified as an issue when it was first submitted in July not September. The original form was sent to you and passed customs no worries. There was also a lack of communication that my items were ready for collection. The first I knew of it was two emails asking about insurance and an invoice for storage of my items until they were collected. This is not good enough as I should have been told prior to those emails being sent!

I gave a three star rating due to lack of communication. Also I had to be pro active in making sure all of our items were included in the packing lists as nearly all of it was left off the list for the packers. The salesman was fantastic, we got the quote on the spot which was great. There just seemed to be a lack of coordination between everyone involved in the move, and not enough communication to ensure a smooth process.
In saying that, I am very happy with the service, would use it again and recommend it to anyone looking.
The storage costs were high, the transfer of my goods to another supplier was challenging.
They did not unpack left me with all the boxes and bubble wrap which I'm struggling to get rid off
The questions should have "maybe" as an answer. I thought it took a little too long to be delivered to me after its arrival in Australia. However, I realize that not everything is in the hands of Conroy. I understand some paperwork was improperly filed, although I wasn't told whose mistake that was. Most importantly, however, some items in one of my boxes were broken. I don't know if that was due to poor packaging on the US end or rough handling in the process or after it arrived in Australia. I didn't have any say in whether Conroy was part of this process, and that is why the survey questions should have "maybe" or "not applicable" as potential answers. The Conroy people I did deal with seemed helpful.
Revealed hdden fees after shipping had commenced so over a barrel at that point. Time frame estimates far from reality and then all of a sudden ready to deliver at short notice. Fortunately text updates enabled flex on delivery schedule which was appreciated. Unopened boxes seemed in fair condition on delivery.
