Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI am not sure how to answer the question above. There was much confusion as we began this process and I speak English. It would have been very difficult for a non English speaker I believe. I think the miscommunications added must to the stress I was feeling and I even had word that the contents of my boxes were to be taken away at one point. Not sure I would like someone else to experience this.
Communication regarding the delivery was not great, we had to keep chasing you to find out about dates and progress. The actual delivery date was later than expected.
Clear explanation of the car import process was lacking.
2 of the men that delivered our goods to the house were very good and the other man did not do much at all. He literally stood back and watched me unpack, then took the paper and empty boxes outside. There was no “unpacking to benchtop”, I unpacked every box myself. More than 2 Conroys people were required for the job.
We were very upset that 4 pieces of furniture were broken in the move however the insurance claim process was very straightforward.
It took one month to clear the shipment from delivery of good from airport to residential address. Secondly the shipment was dleayed becasue of the internal matter of 2 agencies (Qatar and Conroy) as i being customer was dragged and shipment was not released even tough it had cleared the customs on 25 February.
For a matter of fact this internal matter of agencies should have been sorted well in advance and not keep the customers hagining on the knife edge.
They young fellas that turned up were not equipped to carry out the job - they had no lifting straps suitable to do the job . I had advised the bloke on the phone that it was a very large heavy unit - this wasn’t conveyed to the actual men who had to move it .
The truck wasn’t big enough they had to tilt the hutch over on its side to fit it in - resulting in one of them cutting his leg .
Just think that communication needs to be to the ground floor so everyone is on the same page

Blake and Isaac were both very friendly and helpful. I found one incident very disconcerting. As per quote matress protectors were to be provided for beds, unfortunately this did not happened and used my expensive Sheridan sheets as protectors. These sheets ended up being very dirty, luckily not damaged. I was also disappointed to find that the container had not been checked prior to arrival at my property to make sure it was clean and empy,, this might be because they were running late and was not at my residence until 0850am. Broken glass and dirt was inside container from a previous job. Surely they should be cleaned and maintained after each removal.

I am somewhat happy about the service..
I was given a quote for 20 boxes, 2 suitcases and a dryer for $1200, however over alot of confusion with all the other HIGH quotes I received L, after that initial quote, I ended up being charged the same price for 14 boxes and 2 suitcases.. RIP OFF!!
I should have/ could have sent all my household goods over as I had another 6 boxes I could have added on..
All in all, it arrived at the destination safely yet some of the boxes were damaged and yet to see if some of the items were damaged also, but they made it to the location safely.. so Thank you, I do appreciate your services and will be happy to use it once again..

Pickup service was fantastic in Brisbane back in August.
Delivery in NZ was supposed to be around 14th of December but still hasn’t been made as of 6 January
I was a bit disappointed with the unpacking service. I was told there was not enough space and due to OH&S they could not unpack but they did not even attempt it, the lady provided a straight out no. The gentleman was kind enough to unpack the chest of draws but only after I had to ask for help.
