The Brisbane response was good and when I phoned re boxes delivery etc, received very good information.
But it seemed to a long time for delivery to Christchurch ( nearly 3 months) with little information, in fact the boxes were in NZ for 10 days before delivery, even though I found out they had been through Immigration and customs. When they arrived one box was split, not sure if anything is missing, the other two boxes were worst for wear. I was told the type of box for packing would be ok. Just a little disappointed.
New Zealand side let the team down
I believe your company in New Zealand need to have a look at there management as it’s very poor over there .. In Australia they were all lovely and did an amazing job
"good until all my things arrived"
The service was good until all my things arrived and a lot of my things were damaged . After trying to claim insurance through Conroy’s my settlement offer has been super low and offending. I understand that damage sometimes occurs however some heavy items have clearly been placed on my dryer etc and now I have to live with all my belongings dented as they won’t be replaced or fixed. Not happy. Also I was told that someone could come back and pick up the remaining boxes which I have contacted Dunedin about but have yet to be given a date, I sent a follow up email but yet to hear back.

Vlaued the guys that unloaded in Sydney - quick nd nice and helpful - was a bit miffed at the communication regarding state of crate after landing in Australia.

I received an e-mail saying my goods had arrived on a Friday and then about 4 hours later they corrected saying they were scheduled to arrive on the Sunday. Then on the delivery day they gave me a window from 9:30-10:30, that I scheduled with my apartment. At 10:40 I finally called the coordinator who didn't know they hadn't shown up. I then got a call from the driver saying they had an issue with the truck and would be about an hour. Finally, two hours later I called and they had just pulled up. The move went great but I would have expected a proactive call to let me know they were going to make it by 10:30 and then an update that it was taking longer than the 1 hour and would be more like 2. More accurate, proactive and timely communication would have been appreciated.

Off staff were easy to deal with
Office staff were easy to deal with especially Shannon also James was very helpful from Brisbane office. Melbourne office were a little slow from pick up time to delivery but chaps who actually delivered to my home were great so all in all definitely use Conway again the way to go
Lack of overall communication
The initial home visit and quote was fantastic. Gave me a great deal of confidence so I went with Conroy rather than one of the cheaper quotes I had. The packers were great, though a little over enthusiastic in packing a couple of items I'd specifically said not to pack, but not a big problem. Following packing and removal customer service then slowed down and it took a number of emails to find out when my goods were actually leaving the country. I know this stuff takes time but at times there was a deafening silence. I think all the client wants is some reassurance that the company is aware of a question and will answer it. At times it felt like there was a black hole which was a shame given that I'd chosen Conroy on the reassurance of great customer service.
My goods were despatched both air and sea freight. Unfortunately my UK customs paperwork was not sent by Conroy with the air freight. Hence it was delayed by over a week once it reached the UK, precisely what I was trying to avoid and incredibly frustrating. I also then incurred a charge from DHL. The shipping process was excellent once my goods were actually on board a ship, with the UK agent providing excellent and timely communication and service.
Overall I'd say Conroy were average and didnt meet the expectations set in my initial meeting with Michelle.

Conroys were extremely helpful and responsvie as my shipment was running into both customs and quarantine issues. The staff managing this process as as well the crew who delivered and unloaded the shipment at the final destination were excellent. I only gave 3 stars because of one issue. The shipment finally arrived in Brisbane on September 24th, but as ours was the only load to come in our direction, 4 hours drive away, it waited in Brisbane for 4 weeks before it could be shipped with another load. This was difficult to take as we needed so many things in that load having moved back to Austalia with only 2 suitcases. So, basically I'd highly recommend them, but I'd check in advance about actual delivery time if I was going to do it again. This would not be a problem if you were moving to a big city.
I have yet to receive my goods in the US. I wasn’t expecting that my shipment would sit in Australia until mid November before starting its journey. While I failed to ask an expected time frame,I was also never given a timeline from the representatives. Some prior information would have been useful to set my expectations. My previous experience had our container packed shipped and delivered in 8 weeks. Apart from the slowness of the goods transit , the service was good. Communication could have been better as I heard nothing until I reached out early November
