More Communication Needed
Service from England was excellent and we had excellent communications up to our goods clearing customs and then all went quiet. I appreciate it takes time to arrange delivery but it would have been nice to have been kept in the loop, with the occassional email - instead of me having to email England to get contact from Brisbane!

I was happy with the service Conroy removals provided in my recent move. However it was over shadowed by a terrible experience at my uplift by another company resulting in some of my items missing and most sustained damage from the trip down from Darwin.
Items Broken
Some things were broken maybe due to the way they were packed by the UK packers or roughly handled by staff somewhere along its long journey. I think it would be a good idea to have more cctv on all locations where the shipment is handled so you can pinpoint where the issues are occurring.
Very disappointed
A brand new unopened expensive induction cook top was smashed. Very disappointed and now an extra $250 insurance claim cost + all the drama associated
Brilliant Pick Up and Delivery
I found the pickup and delivery guys absolutely brilliant - friendly, professional and great customer service. However there were a few communication issues, e.g at the beginning of the process there was a misunderstanding over my goals, though I felt I'd been very clear in what I required. This was ultimately sorted out but it was extra stress when I really didn't need it. Also, for both deliveries, it was difficult getting answers as to when my gear would be delivered. It took a while to get everything to Hastings from Auckland and for the first delivery I had to call the office in Sydney in the end to ask them to contact the Auckland office to find out what was happening! Both deliveries had to be chased constantly - so communication overall was a bit poor. There were regular emails regarding shipping and customs clearance, but once the goods were in NZ I found it difficult to find out what was going on.
Another issue was the packaging - my mattress was wrapped in plastic by the pickup guys but when it arrived there were lots of tears in the packaging, right through to the mattress! Luckily it doesn't appear to have been damaged, but I found that a bit concerning. I expected some wear and tear, but I thought the mattress could have been handled more carefully.
I have recommended your services to friends, mainly based on the pickup/delivery and most of my gear generally arriving in good condition. I would also use your services again, but try to make sure I have a dedicated contact person for delivery.
"Overall not satisfied"
Overall not satisfied with the waiting period and waiting time. Took 8 weeks for our goods to be delivered. I dont know if the holiday season have affected the process. I got 4 things that has been broken and awaiting for the insurance claims.
Napier Branch Not So Good
The Brisbane side of things were great but the Napier things were far from good.

Our service in the U.K. with John Mason was a far better experience than our arrival into Melbourne with Conroy. We waited beyond the original 10 days that was advised for our clearance and there was a significant lack of updates from the team at Conroy. Even once we were cleared we waited a further 4 working days for delivery even though we advised the team that we were in an empty house with a child (due to their misinformation of our ship arrival date) and requested a priority due to this. The guys who unloaded our boxes were good however I still feel I would not recommend them to anybody.

Missing Box
I have had a very polite collection of people who I worked with in getting my shipment from port to Sydney and to carry out the paperwork Australia side (as the first portion was obviously in the USA). But sadly, a whole box of items went missing and I hope with deligence these items will be found and in good to excellent condition. Why I wrote no for using the services again is that I won't be moving again and would not be in need of their services but if I did move and my items are located I might very well change my mind. In regards to a recommendation because this survey is sent out before I have full completion of this transaction I would not be able to recommend with an affirmative as sadly items have gone missing; but again if these items are retrieved of course a strong recommendation would be in order.
"very long time to arrive"
While everything else was perfectly well executed, the shipment took a very long time to arrive in Sydney (almost a month). It was stuck in Hong Kong for some reason. This was probably because a longer air rout was used to ship the goods.
Everything that happened from your end of the service was great! Wonderful service and helpful people! Going up and beyond expectations! However, Schumacher Logistics service was terrible. They wouldn't let me check several items that were not marked or had 2 numbers matching. Also, they put undue pressure on my to sign all the pages and I couldn't do that because of errors. They did NOT open any boxes to check for breakables. That was part of the agreement. Now I need to go through everything by myself. There were many boxes that contained breakables. They didn't stack in a logical manner. I can't get to anything beyond 1 row and they stacked things 3 boxes high. 2 rows are not reachable at all. The other room that they put things is a pile miss-matched and thrown in. I'm so disappointed
I loved your end of the business and would use you again for sure. We've phoned and left a message for Schumachers and have yet to hear from them.
