Thanks for the opportunity to comment on our experience. It appears the container was damaged by the time it was unloaded in Dunedin. It could have been photographed before and during the unloading to simplify the process of claiming damages insurance Some items were not really packed well, and some items that should have been in the first consignment were actually in the second. Generally all the staff were very pleasant and helpful, however a bit more attention to detail would have been appreciated. Regards Ken F.

"Below average communication"
Below average communication to client from support staff. Emails should be answered, even if you have no further information. No phonecall to confirm approximate delivery time either, as had been told. Otherwise backoffice staff performed their duties satisfactorily.

"found them to have absolutely no empathy"
Unfortunately the office team whom we dealt with were very unprofessional i.e. they did update us on the status of our container as stated on previous correspondence. We also found them to have absolutely no empathy. We would like to give credit to the team whom delivered and unpacked our container, they were outstanding.

Thankfully had a much better experience with conroy than with their partners in Netherlands where I shipped from, but there's still room to improve. At the beginning it was perfect, got updated via email on the regular and whenever I had questions the ladies at conroy were always helpful on the phone. Nearing the end (concerning quarantine inspection and delivery) I would have liked actual updates when delayed, I had to keep calling to hear from you and ask why I didn't hear anything on the scheduled days. Which really added to the frustration as my goods ended up being nearly three months delayed mostly from the Dutch side. The arranging for delivery was pretty unprofessional, as I was trying to pick a day and got emailed back very infrequently without actual answers to my suggestions for days. Afterwards I never got a written confirmation and had to call on the day of delivery to find out that the person responsible went on leave without handing over his tasks (thankfully the move was still planned in for the day). Movers arrived on time and were quick, but could've have definitely been more friendly and maybe could've handled my things with more care. All of my things did arrive in perfect condition, which was a relief. I'd like to thank Megan as she has always been very helpful, informative and nice over the phone.

We had a couple of broken glasses & my washing machine had been dropped & has had to be fixed. The guys that came to the house in Australia to pack were fantastic, very friendly & very professional. This experience with Conroys was great!
"Compliments to them"
I am assuming that the fact that a box of flower pots (box 211) arrived broken due to the fact that they were packed without protection in The Netherlands I should take up with the removalists in The Netherlands. I will also be raising the issue that a pack of cat food was packed in the Netherlands which meant that we had to pay quarantine costs here in Australia. Could you confirm that I have to deal with this directly with the Dutchies as I do not see that it was Conray's fault?
The two men that moved our belongings were friendly, polite and hard working. Compliments to them

"The delivery team were fantastic"
I was not overly impressed with the initial communications form the Co-ordination team in Qld, which were very standard and not personalised. Nor did I feel they cared about my situation or urgency to have my goods. I had to push them for details and I'm glad I was able to get them to plan ahead and book a tentative delivery date allowing 4-5 days for customs/quarantine clearance because if I hadn't, it would be been another week for my delivery. I feel the Co-ordination team could be more empathetic and proactive when planning deliveries and I did not appreciate getting the stock standard corporate response.
However, once I was put in contact with the local Ops team in Perth, everything was amazing! The delivery team were fantastic and made it a fun day despite the high volume to be unloaded and unpacked. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Jeff, Mimbi and David for their efforts on the day (and Simon for his easy communications with planning). I was disappointed by a number of breakages and damage to some key items, but unfortunately my goods were double/triple handled so there is no way to determine where the breakages occured. I will take this up with the insurance company.

"items damaged"
I have used your company twice to move between NZ and Australia. I have been very happy with your pricing both times and your customer service. The only thing that has disappointed me is our move just recently we had quite a number of items damaged, was this due to poor packing I don't believe so, I believe it was packed well and placed on the container correctly but when being unpacked for QT inspection and re packed is where items were put back on the container upside down, on their side and breakable items up high where they could fall and smash. To note going back to NZ we had not one issue. I hope the level of service continues through the insurance claim.

Multiple people handling my issues compounded things and time was not of the essence

Not sure what happened on the move in day as I was not at home but my wife said that the guys left at 12ish. The person that I was dealing with said that they would be there till 3pm helping unpack?
