I had a cupboard that sustained a hole in the back of it and due to the way my spa was secured for delivery on the back of a trailer it now has 8 permanent indents on the top cover. Not happy about these issues.

"Everything arrived safe and 2-4wks sooner than expected"
Initially I was very disappointed with packing and handling in Australia. However after I addressed this with the company everything was very well handled from this point on. Everything arrived safe and 2-4wks sooner than expected. I was appreciative did this.

"Was dissapointed with damages"
Was dissapointed with damages. And to find our container had been broken into with several items missing. I am an ex Conroy's Napier employee I have always pushed Conroy's to family and friends. I have ticked yes through loyalty after working for David, and him having been an excellent boss

Broken plate. furniture rubbed and marked. Missing 2 things from suitcase.

From the container arriving we had to wait 6 weeks for our belongings. This was not the fault of Conroys, however it is hard to give a 5 star rating after such a long delay regardless of who was at fault.
The office staff were always kind and courteous. They gave accurate information at all times .
The delivery guys were great, worked tirelessly until the job was complete.
We only had one box that appeared to have been dropped with all contents smashed . This could have happened at any stage so we aren't pointing any fingers of blame .
"changed without an email/phone call"
I found the initial corrospondence excellent, especially when you are moving oversees there are many uncertanities. On moving day, the guys were friendly, professional and very very thorough. It would have been good to get more information about the progress of our shipment after it left the house. We were told that it was scheduled on a certain ship and date, however it was changed without an email/phone call. This would have been helpful so we could have planned contingiencies in advance.
My experience started well in NZ. I had a friendly and helpful person come and do the initial quote and the removalists were great.
I found organising my stuff to be shipped (after being in storage) difficult to organise with no information on website or phone messages about working hours over holiday period.
I was told that my container would arrive in Melbourne on 25th Jan and take around 10 days to deliver to me. I signed a lease on a new flat based on that information. While it did arrive on 25th Jan it took FIVE WEEKS to deliver costing me well over $3500 in dead rent. No apology.
The men who delivered my stuff were very efficient. But a table top was missing and 1.5 weeks later no one has attempted to get back to me.
In general my experience was very stressful and disappointing. Will be throwing away my 'spare' table legs and using an alternative company in the future.
