However, we are missing all the slats from our Queen size bed.
Our fridge got mouldy damage and we weren't informed that the fridge will be mouldy on transport due to moisture. Just learned that insurance wont cover this and we are very disappointed on the damage of the fridge if only we are informed by the one who is packing this it can be easily prevented.
9 of 10 packages delivered. Still waiting for the one that was not packed on the delivery vehicle. Apparently it is still at the warehouse. Communication is excellent otherwise.
We were quite disappointed with the packing service. A team of 3 arrived on the first day, only for two of them to leave shortly after and left 1 poor guy to pack the entire house. After 10 hours he had barely made it through half the house. The following morning a team of 5 arrived to finish the packing and uplift, which was fine, and the got the job done. However, had we not already moved the entire downstairs ourselves in the days prior (we wanted to make a headstart), it would have taken them another full day to complete the packing. Our expectation was that the uplift would begin first thing on the 2nd day, which would give us the maximum time to unpack at the other end, and that the boxes would also be itemised. This was our experience when we previously used Conroy Removals approx. 20 months ago when moving from Melbourne to Brisbane, and the service then was excellent/highly professional (5 star). This time around for our local Brisbane move, the service was not up to the same standard, and we were left feeling like it wasn't great value for money.
Due to the following concerns we would have given your company 5 star rating: 1) we were charged for 75 boxes but actual count of packed boxes were only 45 boxes so overcharged for 28 boxes. This maybe was because the quote was done by video call not actual count on site. I emailed our sales rep on 28 March who made the quote for amendment of the quote and refund for the overcharged items. We are still waiting for his reply. 2) 5 items were missed out and left at your warehouse. But I got an email today that they are in the warehouse and someone will contact us for the delivery. Hope we can be refunded for the overcharge cost of 28 boxes.

Significant damage in the consignment that occurred from packing to delivery. Not sure who in the consignment chain was responsible for the poor handling and damage.
Second delivery truck and personell arrived late resulting in a rather frenetic unpacking and storing of boxes to be opened later causing unnesary stress.
Team leader and staff were good and assisted where possible.
Some of our goods were packaged very well but some looked like they were just thrown in with no protective wrapping. This led to broken picture frames. My wooden coffee table was poorly wrapped and sustained damage. A piece of furniture was partially dismantled and the screws were lost. I left my bike rack ready to be packaged. When I unwrapped it the bolts were missing. I haven't been able to find them therefore it is now unusable. This is all so disappointing. One of the locks on my campervan was damaged. I suspect this was done at customs. When we received the campervan if was filthy. I paid a large amount for it to be steam cleaned. It was so bad that the passenger window was unable to open due to the dirt. I had been told that the campervan would be recleaned before I took possession, this was not done.
I was disappointed in the confusion and lack of communication between Conroy and their partner company.
I highly recommend the Conroy guys who unloaded the containers at our Queensland address.
Generally happy with the service. Iitems where I was disappointed:
- removalist scratched timber floorboards with trolley during pickup
- picture frames were not secured and when container was opened they were laying down. one large painting had the glass shattered
- delivery timeframe was longer that the advised during quote meeting
Customer service was good. But handling the removals was not great, as our furniture turned up demaged and few other Fragile stuff was broken when arrived. Even though we had put Frigile stickers on but seems like the boxes were not handled with care.
On the NZ side some of the staff we dealt with were blunt and unhelpful. As we had all ready paid in full we just went with it. Some of our fine China had not been wrapped as promised. (Royal Albert and Norirake dinner set just thrown in a box). This confused us as it was not as agreed. Our Art Deco buffet arrived damaged. The person who loaded our paper work we did not find that friendly, helpful or understanding. We had difficulties with emails and communication regarding documents and clarity around those. The end at Australia and people we dealt with there were efficient and helpful. Including the removalists who were helpful. I was just disappointed with the lack of care in the NZ side. We would look at a different company next time.
All of our long flat clothing boxes had been stowed on their ENDS at some point, including during delivery. This resulted in every single clothing item that was stored and transported thus arriving heavily creased, and looking as if they'd been in a charity shop donation bin. They will need to be ironed or professionally pressed, as they are unwearable in their present state.
Even without the markings on the boxes, it should be obvious to anyone with any sense, let alone professional packers, that they should have been laid flat.
Additionally, due to (some) careless packing by Easymove UK, a number of items arrived damaged. These were:
Standard lamp - base shattered.
Glass candle bowl packed between two solid objects with only scant protection - smashed.
Two terra-cotta garden ornaments, packed together - smashed.
Two pedal bins packed sideways on top of each other - badly dented.
Considering the care taken, by-and-large, to pack our belongings, this lapse was disappointing. Likewise the service by your people, who overall were efficient, professional and courteous.
I'm sorry to say that we will be using our previous removalist (Pickfords/Allied Pickfords) in future, as we never had this level of damage in our 3 previous moves with them.
