Feedback- when dismantling the screws for beds etc, to put the screws with the bed frames or clearly labelled box. We had to search several boxes before finally finding the screws.
Melbourne team - went relatively well, John was very open and created a positive experience. Feedback - was the furniture assembly supposed to be part of the service?
Service was not fulfilled as quoted , I had to unpack TV's and bed not installed correctly
We still have not received our goods yet. They were packed and picked up at the end of April, did not get on a boat for a month, arrived in New Zealand 3 1/2 weeks ago, and were advised they would be sent Asap, but the goods are still not delivered. I have had to follow up, and was assured that it will be delivered this week, but still no correspondence. Very disappointed.
NZ side fine, communication with the Australian side, extremely unhelpful. I have shifted perhaps a dozen times with Conroys, that's the last one.
Communication via emails needs to be improved. Removal service performed by partner companies requires better communication with the management team to avoid delays.
All of the communication and packing process in Australia was great. However when our belongings arrived at our address in NZ there were pieces of furniture and a few of our boxes that were damaged and had scratches. 10 boxes were left at the depot when they came to deliver our belongings the first time so we had to organise for someone to be home again for a second delivery the following week. When the second delivery came Conroy left all our belongings packaged up and didn't remove any of the boxes or packing as they were meant to do because that was the service we paid for. Now we need to dispose of all the packaging ourselves. We have been in communication with the NZ depot team about 2 boxes being unaccounted for early last week but we still have not received a reply.
Izzy was rude and unhelpful, there was next to no communication except when I reached out. The Singapore side of things was exceptional so I was expecting similar comms from the AU side
The 2 men who completed our move were very professional and friendly and completed the task in a timely manner however unfortunately it was noted that our TV was packed into the truck on the short side and has come out badly damaged and unusable.
All of our long flat clothing boxes had been stowed on their ENDS at some point, including during delivery. This resulted in every single clothing item that was stored and transported thus arriving heavily creased, and looking as if they'd been in a charity shop donation bin. They will need to be ironed or professionally pressed, as they are unwearable in their present state.
Even without the markings on the boxes, it should be obvious to anyone with any sense, let alone professional packers, that they should have been laid flat.
Additionally, due to (some) careless packing by Easymove UK, a number of items arrived damaged. These were:
Standard lamp - base shattered.
Glass candle bowl packed between two solid objects with only scant protection - smashed.
Two terra-cotta garden ornaments, packed together - smashed.
Two pedal bins packed sideways on top of each other - badly dented.
Considering the care taken, by-and-large, to pack our belongings, this lapse was disappointing. Likewise the service by your people, who overall were efficient, professional and courteous.
I'm sorry to say that we will be using our previous removalist (Pickfords/Allied Pickfords) in future, as we never had this level of damage in our 3 previous moves with them.
Service was good during pickup and delivery BKK, once in customs in BKK they said it was cleared on the 12 July but held up because the delivery address was incorrect and had to pay import duties (thai nationals don't pay if they have passport and spent time in aus)
When eventually it did go it didn't arrive on the day and they said next day, next day truck had a accident and had to wait 2 more days, when freight arrived and after unpacking found 50% of the boxes had been dropped and crushed in the corner (probably transferring from one truck to another on the side of the road)
On arrival opened the boxes to clear for insurance and every thing was OK on top but after many hours of emptying boxes to find a lot of items were broken some expensive and heirloom items,
Very disappointing
