I had fantastic help by all the members, unfortunately while unpacking a lot of things were broken, one container was bubble wrapped but still damaged badly plus contents, I did not take out insurance so cannot claim.

"Otherwise...all OK"
Detailed information about how long it takes to roughly pack and uplift consignment was not given thus we actually arranged for cleaners on the day of moving eventhough we have informed Conroy Auckland about the cleaners. Yes, we were told about the delivery would take 5-7 weeks but it was pressed on the perhaps lomg quarantine and clearance of customs .Our consignment was actually cleared around 2weeks of the day it got packed and left Our home..the actual reaaon for long wait in delivery was the transportation between Brisbane Townsville and into Cairns. This waiting we were not happy.As we felt whenever the consignment was cleared frm customs and immigration quarantine,it should be delivered ASAP and within the mentioned timeframe of 10-14 days of custom clearance but instead it took longer. Please look into this for improvement in timeframe. We find that no one communicates with us too..unless we initiated..especially after custom clearance again.. theres.loop holes here and there that really needs working, mainly regular communications with customers. Otherwise...all OK.
"NO ONE CAN GIVE A FIRM ANSWER ON DELIVERIESS"
Your delivery to my home and the service given by your responsible employee was very good. In fact Isaac is a plus factor for your company, However to pay the amount we paid for home deivery which included and extra 850 dollars and have to wait for three weeks without a clear directive,is unacceptable. NO ONE CAN GIVE A FIRM ANSWER ON DELIVERIESS AND WHY MUST ONE PURCHASE NECESSITIES WHEN THEY ARE ALREADY IN TRANSIT. i have written to you correspondece in France (AMDT) in view of breacages and questionable payment for 18M3 by them and your invoice stating 12 m3 ? I am sure you can appreciate my responces and, incidentaly, to date I have not recieved a reply from AMDT..

The removal guys Casey and Amos were the only effective communicators and who worked hard to meet our needs and enquires on the Australian side

"a bit of fine tuning"
Having come from NZ to Australia with Conroys and having no problems I can only say my experience with Conroys Australia was disappointing. I constantly had to be on the phone for information on the progress of my shift and to have to ring up 3 days before my departure on holiday to Scotland and ask for the invoice to be emailed so I could pay it was unnecessary.
On arrival in Ch-Ch I had requested that one suitcase in particular be kept aside, no problem there in fact I was given the chance to have all suitcases listed in the inventory available to me, which I chose. Unfortunately the packers failed to list one of the cases and this one contains my laptop. So until I can find my own accommodation and have my consignment delivered I have no idea where it is.
So I think a bit of fine tuning of your liaising with customers and attention to detail in writing up the inventory is required.

There were a number of additional charges that weren't mmade clear to me in London and there was no ability to negotiate and as I needed my goods I really had no choice but to pay. Delivery men were pleasant and efficientn however left several dirty marks on the carpet which I will now need to get professionally cleaned.
"Conroys customer service approach I have found to be excellent"
On the whole the removal was ok. Some bits good, friendliness and flexibility of staff. Some bits not so good, inadequate labelling of boxes at origin and inadequate packing of an item I'd specifically requested to be extra careful. This led to the item breaking and it can't be replaced. Conroys customer service approach I have found to be excellent. Next time I wouldn't get the removal company to do the valet packing/unpacking, but rather pay the specialist valet packing and get Conroy's for just the removal part.

I found dealing with customer service to be easy, painless and they were always very prompt and patient as I had a huge number of questions. We haven't been able to open boxes yet as we haven't moved into our new home, however there are a number of boxes that are dented etc. Hoping that the contents are in tact on the inside. Many of the forms were quite confusing and we were given some that we didn't actually need to fill out. We had a significant mix up with our final bill which was quickly rectified, but if we hadn't been vigilent we could have over paid by around $500.

The delivery of my shipment was at the time specified and the men were courteous and efficient. However arranging a delivery date was difficult and required numerous emails.

I was very happy with the service, once my belongings had arrived at your depot in QLD from Darwin, NT. But, I was not impressed with your subsidiary in Darwin, Top End Removals. After specifically getting a person to physically come out and give me a quote, on the day of the removal, I was informed that no TV boxes were included in the pick up and that I would have to pay the extra and hope that some were available and someone could drop off, I felt blackmailed as I had been very specific. There was much squabbling between the boys, and one actually left prior to the pick up being complete. Later, when queried, the office claimed he went home sick, but I heard the arguing and complaining. The removalists were complaining that they were not informed of dismantling big items, TV boxes etc. yet I had been very vocal about these as I am a middle aged, unwell woman who was moving on her own. I am now in the process of claiming damages for several smashed and damaged items, as I am dealing with Top End, I hope this part is not as traumatic as the move. But as stated at the beginning, the staff at Conroys were efficient, polite and helpful. Particularly I would like to thank Sharnie.
I will not require anymore removal services in Australia.
