The movers need to be more experianced at moving larger items like fridges and tool cabinets , it's not all about muscles but also being smart and careful not to dent scratch items, how to move items and other opions to use in moving items. no blankets used to cover items and protect from scratches, Next time I'd definitely take the insurance as I would have claimed on the scratched and dented, items it would have made it worth the 1000$ . Using my own equipment to assist them in moving my items shouldn't have been an option for them and they didn't ask to use my equipment either. It's expected they should have their own moving equipment. The truck was a container truck which handicapped the crew by having an additional step which had no ramp. Would I use your services again it's a "maybe" but definitely with transit insurance. Removal Training should be a priority.
The team was in too much of a rush to put things in the house
they tried to finish the job in a day even though 2 days were allocated for the job

It turns out that the screws/bolts of all items that have been taken apart for packing are not packed together with the item itself.
The packing list is very high level and does not include e.g. a discription of a box with miscellaneous items or parts. Which makes it impossible to search for missing items without opening all boxes. If this was not the case, we would definitely give Conroy a five star rating.
In general the move was completed and the team that was here was doing a good job although there were a couple of instances where boxes were dropped, however they all survived. The team was quick and was nice to work with. The reason why I would not use Conroy in the future was the lead up to the actual delivery. The communication and expectation management was really poor. We continuously asked for updates and a planned delivery date, but always had to chase instead of a proactive approach. We understand that delays can happen and plans might change but giving no updates at all left us in the blind and very disappointed.
Hi Conroy team. Once again your services were excellent. Both pickup and delivery teams did a great and fast job.
3 stars instad of 5 is because all the stickers were placed in the worst spots (e.g. front of the mirror instead of back).
It will take us days to remove all the glue and clean all our furniture.
I hope you can try and improve this problem of an otherwise great service.

We haven't had our delivery yet. However a bit disappointed in the info on what is happening - we had to ask about our shipment (a phone call put through to Wellington was not returned ). We got an answer but no indication of when we might get delivery, even with a proviso on quarantine. The fact that this survey assumes delivery shows some internal comms problems. Bowever. We hope these are just Christmas gremlins, and delivery will be fantastoc as was the pack up
Damaged freight again. Lounge has bad water marks on it plus tear in it.oil painting damaged, coffee machine damaged. Why would U put coffee machine and whipper snipper in the same box. The coffee machine should have been bubbled wrap not upside in a box. I recommended 3 other family members to use Conroy's in the last month, hopefully they get better service so I don't get egg on my face.

I am still wairing for the people to come pick up the empty boxes. My husband was told on the day of delivery of our goid the the boxes will be picked up a week after. We phoned after a week and we were told that it will be collected,b ut they are very busy. We are still waiting for the boxes to be removed. When can we arrange for the boxes to be removed?
This was a really nice service. all my things were safe and perfect, communication was great and they delivered to doorstep, I didn't have any hassle. But it took so long. I know it can take time. but more than 3months i did not expect.
So the two movers did "technically" do their jobs in a satisfactory manner. However, my building management said that the fellows were very and this is their wording "arrogant", I think this is a bit strong. They did the job, they were not very pleasant, the driver especially, was very abrupt and difficult to communicate with in any way. The other fellow made an effort to be nice but varied between being exceedlingly cool and civil. I do know they were not happy when they had to put the boxes back in the truck and take it to the proper entrance I did call them back but they did not answer their phone. I told them as soon as I found them and directed them to the correct entrance. I will have another move arriving in early 2024 and would prefer a different team if at all possible. The administration has been very good and overall I have no complaints. My movers who started this move in the US have some work to do but communication with Conroy's has been good, and I thank you for that.
We were advised that at least basic items (Tables, beds, etc) would be assembled. None of that took place. Without the assistance of external helpers, the move would have been even less enjoyable. Additional fees were charged, but the services did not match the expectations at all.
