Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI only say that I wouldn't recomment you to others because I have limited experience of your service. It is probably not anything to do with Conroys but I ended up with two boxes apparently missing but that may well be the fault of the packers in the UK?? Yet to be sorted out. The men were friendly and worked hard. I really appreciate the fact that you come back to remove the packaging. Overall happy with the service .... thank you.
Things I am very disappointed about:
My delivery has been delayed but there is no notification or any explanation about that until I called the date before the scheduled delivery date. I need to call 2-3 times afterwards to chase up an explanation and any potential delivery schedule.
On the date of delivery, the delivery has been late for an hour without notification e.g., no text or call me after 15-30 minutes of the scheduled time about the late. Because of the late, I was late for work.
Things I am happy with:
The workers and staff are nice and friendly. My stuff are in good conditions.
While I have given good feedback. My bed head was ruined by the team who did the uplift which I am not impressed about and the lack of communication regarding where my stuff was at was also not what I expected
I was disappointed with the lack of communication from the Perth team, but very impressed with the friendly efficient delivery guys that offloaded our furniture in Hervey Bay, both these guys had excellent customer service skills and were very friendly and effcient.
Few of the boxes were very poorly handeled as the belongings inside them completely broke. Even the Plastic containers inside the boxes were completely damaged.
Diningtoom chairs left in garage. Lounge furniture just put randomly in lounge. They should have put the furniture where they found it.
bad feed back because of the poor quality of the packing. Our clothes are all completly creased, we can't wear it without a dry-cleaning for many of them. It was not at all the case when our stuff arrived from France to Australia.
My experience was ok. A lot of items have shown up broken, the same items have been moved internationally before and have not broken. So it was disappointing to say the least. Also, there were what I would deem inappropriate drawings of genitals on our packaging. The rubbish pick up thing is a great service idea, if they ever come to pick it up. Staff have been fairly short and dismissive since we paid for the service, with the exception of the guys that delivered to us in Brisbane they were very friendly and helpful.
The australia side of this process has been amazing. Amazing communication as soon as our shipment arrived all the way through to the delivery. The new zealand side was very dissapointing. We were never told when our shipping left and also that one of our large items hadnt been shipped. It is 2 months since our stuff was collected from our home and found out from the australia side that the item hadnt been shipped. I had to chase this up with the nz team .Surly there is a check sheet when items are put on a container that states if things are missing so feel we should have been informed of this a long time ago
The removalisits who unloaded my goods worked extremely hard on a very hot day. They were excellent. However in unpacking goods, there were a few unwelcome surprises. Most of my things were well packed but unfortunately some boxes were thoughtlessly packed and very haphazard. This resulted in finding an old family heirloom, a piece of Australiania broken. I was distressed to see it had been placed at the bottom of the box, had a heavy object inserted inside it,. The opposite of what you'd want. A few of my older objects arrived with ends chipped off. I think the packer must have thought their age meant it didn't matter rather than more care should be taken. Some furniture arrived slightly damaged. Luckily the majority of things arrived intact ...though I haven't finished unpacking yet. The things from my dressing table seemed to be just thrown into a box and jewellery spilled everywhere. So some good things and bad things. It's just a pity that the things that were broken also had sentimental value.
Communication could have been better. A lot of uncertainty regarding the delivery dates.
Insurance cover was very expensive and not raised until freight had already been paid for.
Bike had some dirt on it which cost $400 to clean. I wish it was advised prior to shipping that this needed to be 100% clean to avoid this.
The people I was dealing with were all generally pleasant and helpful.
