Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersWe used Conroy for a second time because our first experience moving from overseas was good. But this time it was different as almost every item has arrived damaged. The customer servise and communication was good, pick up team was nice and friendly. Something went really wrong along the way. When I received goods in Melbourne everything was damaged. Very diappointing with domestic removal.
Had some breakages and Conway was expensive. Did keep us informed on how the move was going.
Having to ask for feedback constantly with no updates given automatically.
Kept on receiving responses of "let's hope the goods are inspected this week", then after the date has passed no feedback on what actually happened.
Your service has been very efficient. When I have called, excellent service. My only dilima is, that my Heirloom Cedar chest arrived with 2 broken legs....I am quite devastated and I can not check the items in the box until I get the legs fixed. :(
The quoting process, communication and uplift were fantastic.
The delivery was terrible... The delivery guys took very little care with items when unloading, they were rushing, and just shoving and stacking items on top of one another in the storage facility... I am sure I will find broken items when I finally get a chance to unpack..
Your NZ Team has brought to my attention of 2 damaged wine glasses in to separate kitchen boxes. They have explained that they were packed in boxes sideways and not upwards. Also, upon loading in Australia, the Sydney team had left behind items and also missed packing 2 cupboards in the kitchen. Apparently due to confusion but this was unfortunately not resolved before the team left with the container.
The service from the Sydney Team was not aligned with the NZ professionalism and friendly service. These are my points of view in regards to the teams at each home.
In regards to the online emailing and Customer Sevice team in AUS and NZ, they were superb and done a wonderful job in trying to accomodate as much as they could and also responded back to many of me emails. They both did a great job.
Overall, I would still recommend to others as a main choice to move with. My family are happy with the move.

Delivered my furniture brligings to early as to the agreed time do I had to pay for storage
I found the movers very good, professional and friendly. I have used conroy in the past, and did not shop around this time, just went straight to you.
This time, I feel like I was overcharged. I feel like I was charged twice for the travel time, and when I tried to query this, kym was not interested in my concern, just replies with, this is what I need to charge you. It clearly states you need to pay travel time.
To be clear, I was not complaining about being charged for travel time, I was aware of the charge. The driver wrote down 7.30-11am, and told me that included his travel time, because they arrived at my house at 8am. I said, yep, no worries. But then my invoice says 3.75hrs (not even 3.5) moving time, plus travel time.
I feel my concern could have been addressed at time of payment, I found the office very rude and abrupt, and not willing to listen at all.
It wasn't the quality service I experienced last time I used conroys. The Christchurch pick up staff did not know what they were doing and two of them spent time on the toilet. I ended up showing them how to pack.
On arrival in Melbourne I received a survey not a customs clearance. The man delivering wasn't told their were stairs although I had told the admin staff this. He got grumpy and I ended up with two breakages.
Admin staff seemed great but you need to train and improve delivery service.
Subcontracting movers were great on both legs.
Overall cost was expensive - clear it was overquoted. Far too many boxes provided. Estimator seems to enflate costs.
