Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI don't intend on moving overseas again but will refer your door to door service to others with the proviso that it is not a guarantee that no damage will occur. I had one of my bedside rimu drawers timber 2cm x 6cm gouged out on the front panel of the side/leg. The packaging was damaged and I was not able to locate the piece of wood. Communication re status of the goods I can not fault.
Our goods arrived on time, as arranged. However, we were sad to see that our leather couch had a long deep cut from when they unwrapped it.
I have moved many times within Australia because of my time in the Army but the last move we had quite a lot of personal items were broken and unfortunately thrown out.
Your moving teams on both sides of the Australian continent were extremely professional but that didn't save our items.
Oh yes communication needs to improve between you and the client very poor indeed.
I found communication and packing of my goods to be recommended. However I do not envisage moving overseas again. I will however recommend your company with the added note that not having damaged goods on arrival is a certainty. Prior to unpacking my 2 chests and a bedside drawer, I did note that there were tears in the packaging. On unpacking my drawer I did find a large chunk of the rimu timber 6 cm x 2 cm had been gouged out. No remnant was in the packaging. The location is the front bottom left hand side of the drawer.
My stuff arrived from the states. Then deliver to the warehouse where I met the removal men.
one of my rosewood chest of draws was not packed up properly. It arrived not in any packaging. Then they went to pick it up and the top came off. Then all the sides started to come apart. This was not packed properly and the cutlery inside was not packed up and wrapped. It as all just left in the draws. So we're all over the lace
I have a missing sculpture, it is important to me and require follow up to find out where this is please
My items came heavily damaged. I couldn't recommend this company.
Subcontracting movers were great on both legs.
Overall cost was expensive - clear it was overquoted. Far too many boxes provided. Estimator seems to enflate costs.
Has the capacity to be a great job but the admin in a little lax at times.
The packers and the lifters were both a credit to the move.
