Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersFrom start to finish, the customer service has left a lot to be desired. I've had to chase emails on a number of occasions and getting an explanation of the process, particularly import duties, proved almost impossible. It's now over four months since my goods were collected and I've still not taken delivery of them. I've also been charged for port storage because there are delays in the UK ports. I feel this is particularly unfair as I have no control over this. I can't comment on the state of my goods at this point, I'm hoping they arrive in good condition! On a positive note, the two men who collected my goods were pleasant and efficient.
Very poor communication - Conroys did not contact me until more than 2 weeks after the boxes were collected to advise a delivery timeframe and my messages/calls were not returned prior to this time (although I finally managed to speak to someone 2 weeks after the boxes were collected).. The timeframe for delivery was also longer than I expected from my conversations during the quotation period. Although I am still unpacking, some boxes had external damage and animals/insects obtained access to some of the boxes as there are stains/droppings on the outside of the boxes and throughout some of the boxes (and their contents). When it was made, the delivery process was relatively smooth.
Communication with Office Staff was mostly very good. Final scheduling of delivery was handled by different staff and was very last minute with no detail volunteered on handling protocols - we needed to call to confirm timing, mask wearing etc. It would be preferable to deal with same Customer Service person for all details regarding delivery, rather than hand off to crew scheduler.
Our concerns around mask wearing protocols were handled well by senior office staff, but not willingly embraced by delivery crew and their schecduler. One crew member did wear mask consistently throughout, following our example, the other was less willing but did eventually follow suit when coming inside our home.
As proven by cases reported in Victoria and South Australia over the past week, removal crews not wearing masks can present problems - just as in any other industry. We do not ask anyone to take precautions that we ourselves do not take, and no one should be exempt. Every workplace should have clearly articulated policies that are provided upon request, around PPE, vaccination status and regular mandatory testing.
The service was very reliable and effiecient. It was also resonably priced handled with care and arrived at the destonation. It took longer than was first given however the agents here gave me lots of feedback and up-to-date news regarding the time for arrival. I would definately let others know about this service as I have been very satisfied with it to date.
6 weeks to get to Darwin, tool it would be delivered on Tues 13th and that you would get local company to confirm. I havent heard anything from local company so l ring you up only to find out it wont be able to be delivered unil 17th. On further questioning of conroy operator he told me you had this inform,ation last Thursday but didnt bother to inform me. Disgraceful! I used Conroy for moving and storage on many occassions - not anymore!
Had to request masks be worn. Seemed unprepared for this obvious necessity.
Bed had to be reassembled by me as screws used in wrong places meaning bedhead and footer completely loose.
Aspects were excellent and the ground team were great. 2 items were sent separately and took over a week later to arrive. Communication about this was very poor and a bit stressful. Everything else was fantastic
All though service here was better than in NZ, still would not recommend. No rush to get consignment delivered to address requested, although payment had been made. No follow up with customs when they didn't turn up in Sydney.
I moved from Perth to Mandurah with no problems. I recomend Conroys for any move no mather what the distance.
Very dissapointed with the delivery team.Whilst the eldest driver was excellent and I do not have any complaint against him whatsoever the other two left a lot to be desired.Clowning around and I expected damage to occur.Two remotes fell on the floor and they were inside drawers.Not the best at all.The 2 workers that did the uplift were excellent in every way.When I first set eyes in these two doing the delivery I could tell they were not the best.When the truck was in the complex one of them was sitting at the back of the truck whilst it was moving.Glad when they had gone.
