Strengths
- The inital consultation with Colin was great, very professional and the team actioned our move very quickly.
- Customer service teams have been responsive to my queries via email and phone.
- Insurance was left off my storage quote, hence we got a suprise when we got our first bill. The team was flexible in their approach in handlng this issue.
Weakensses
- Slopping packing job all round, including:
- Failure to wrap our items properly has lead to a LOT of damage, if these items were wrapped we would not be having this problem and now submitting an insurance claim... Our floor lamp has been bent, scratched soiled due to careless packing & no protection, dining table legs have chucks of wood removed, sofa bed memory foam and structure of the couch is ruined, bedroom lamp base cracked, bedside table has scratches & brass has discoloured due to no protection and dining chairs have all be dented and gouged - all this damage is unrepairable and a result of poor packing and care.
- Our books have been bent - felt like thrown into a box instead of well stacked
- Clothes were chuck in with shoes and other items and are now completely soiled - suprised conroy does not use porter robes or pack items like suit jackets in a more nurturing way - instead there were scruched up and thrown in with all sorts of items together!
- Movers on pick up in Sydney were very unprofessional, aruging and swearing at each other in front of me - it is clear they did not have a good relationship.
my camphor box was damaged, unrepairable, one plastic container was smashed and taped up and said it was picked up like that! do they just throw stuff around no requard! will never use your service again! disgusting!!! demand refund
The only issue that I had was that I had to wait some weeks after clearance with quarintine before goods were delivered to me. Costs weren't cheap. There were 2 marks on one piece which were fresh, when unpacked, and I am waiting for contact regarding this issue.
Generally the relocation and movement of the good into the house was acceptable, however, upon leaving furniture in at least three of the rooms was just left without any semblance of order.

Thank you Conroy Removals for the safe delivery of my precious cabinet. I was anxious in case it went missing or got damaged but you kept me informed every step of the way with emails and phone calls and it arrived exactly on time. The two guys who unpacked it were efficient, polite and friendly. A really good experience for me all round!

Never ever use Conroy for any removals. Given 5-7 weeks delivery time period,by written contract and phone confirmation, Conroy took more than 15 weeks to deliver my household items at my address. When enquiries made, staff members divert phone calls to various staff members. Strange enough to receive a feedback form in 10 weeks, even 5 weeks before the home delivery. Damage happened to the couches as well. Now it's with the tribunal for a compensation decision.
