While the move of the storage went smoothly, the Friday delivery was terrible and badly managed. There didn’t seem to be anyone coordinating the move in. A foreman greeted us at the start, but then disappeared. Our stuff was delivered by two trucks. The first truck was all the boxes. The 2nd truck was the furniture and larger items. While they were bringing more and more boxes we kept asking, where is the furniture. So when the furniture finally arrived there was absolutely no room to unpack, or arrange furniture to unpack into. It was towers of boxes. We spent the weekend shifting boxes around trying to make room to unpack. It was ridiculous. The library shelves were destroyed and they lost the bolts and legs for the bed so we can’t put it together. It’s a $5,000 bed base. There is no way to account for the itemised list and find which box they were in.They kept saying that there was no prioritised box, so they couldn’t put the bed together.
Great communication - efficent pack up and most certainly met expectations.
The New Zealand branch was extremly mis-leading with their quote, and when they came to pack up the items, they never once told me that I had to supply boxes. I had 10 freight boxes sitting in the garage ready to use, but was told I would not need them. After pick-up, I was then told it would cost me extra for packaging. Every question I had asked via email, was not answered, I left multiple messages and could not get answers to simple questions. I supplied my Brisbane address multplie times to the New Zealand branch and the Brisbane branch, but I was messaged a number of times from different staff members requesting my address. I also stated from day 1 that we were up 3 flights of stairs and stated this in my information. Not once was I told it would cost extra to delier upstairs. Being on my own (small female) with a 3 year old made it very difficult to cart all the boxes upstairs. The delivery guys in Brisbane were awesome, and helped get the mattress upstairs. I can not fault the delivery guys. Overall, I would NEVER use Conroys again. Terrible service, no communication between customer and within their own teams. Regretting using them as it was highly stressul. I understand that this feedback wont change a thing so not sure why you ever ask for feedback.
We were very pleased with the condition of our boxes being shipped overseas. We found them just the way we packed them. The removers at sight were friendly and were wary to not damage anything when bringing the stuff inside. My only recommendation to improve is your response to questions via email. Your staff was very friendly on the phone, but did not always answer my questions via email. Overall we were pleased with the process

Boxes were badly damaged, expensive dishes broken. key missing nearly forgot my red chair very upset
The service provided was efficient and timely. The staff at Conroy Removals communicated with the US shipping company regarding our service when a question arose and resolved the issue. The delivery staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

The contact prior to delivery was great - both the email contact and phone. I wasn't able to be at the delivery but my friend who was said the guys were fabulous . It's been a fuss free move and you've been professional and provided a great customer experience. Thanks so much!
