"We are disappointed with the service"
Our TV (Panasonic Plasma) was broken the screen is shattered and it's not working. There were other small damages as well like some broken crockery. The movers that you sent said that we will just open the packages and not the cartons so they did not assemble the cupboard either as some of it's pieces/screws were in the carton. Now It's sitting here in pieces and we don't know what to do. At the time of payment in Dubai we were told that all the stuff will be assembled. We are disappointed with the service, our previous experience with another company was much smoother and we did not have any breakages.

Finding bed legs ..... Took ages perhaps it could be written on the check list . Also most boxes had linen in them to fill a top or a middle of a box. I did not want to open all the boxes but hat to to find sheets towels etc.

I am very impressed with Conroys. The communication from the company was outstanding at every phase of my move. This covered the arrival of my shipment into Sydney from the US, overseeing the customs process, and then storage until my new home was ready. The movers who delivered my goods arrived on time and were courteous, efficient and very co-operative. Thank you .

Very good service - a bit disappointed in euromoves as we paid for a 6-8 week timeframe to arrive in Melbourne but it was 10 weeks, then plus customs. But everything from Conroy very good.

"Very disappointed"
The crate was 7 weeks late, part due to a delay in the U.S. When the crate finally arrived, one of the main large boxes, and most expensive item, was missing. Very disappointed. I have been informed that they are searching Sydney depot but I don't have faith in anyone finding it.
"disappointed with the customer service"
We were very disappointed with the customer service around our goods. We understand that customs queries and hold ups are out of your hands but the need from us to follow up on status, the time for delivery post customs clearance that also that we had to chase. The incorrect dates provided for delivery and further push out and the fact our shipment (car) is still not with is (and yes we need to follow up on that) is beyond frustrating. The only plus from our side was the delivery crew. Great team, very careful and got the job done. The team at HQ could learn from them. Here is hoping that we actually receive news on our vehicle soon.

"I have very mixed feelings about this move"
I have very mixed feelings about this move. I rate Conroy overall very highly, chiefly from the experience of the Brisbane branch handling our large cconsignment a year ago when we returned to Australia from the UK; they were utterly superb, from informing me what was going on to the actual delivery, cheerfully performed by lovely men. The same men delivered my small consignment from South Africa this morning and were just as lovely.
However, the communication from the Sydney office was less than satisfactory. There was a very long delay from these goods arriving in Sydney to the delivery today (over two months) which was entirely caused by the need for an old wooden cabinet to be funigated; all the delays were obviously outside the control of your office but the process was made stressful by the lack of updates and the tone of the communication I did receive. When I asked for information I got it - though it was never particularly well communicated; I didn't really want to send enquiries as the responses were bordering on curt and it seemed I was a nuisance in a busy life. The last straw for me was being told it took a week to discover the cabinet was too small for the gamma ray irradiation chamber (it struck me this could have been ascertained by some measuring and checking before sending it there), that your office needed to ask the quarantine people if they could fumigate it instead, and that I would be kept informed. However, I never did find out what happened, as when I sent one of my regular checking emails, some two weeeks later, I got a brief reply to say my goods would arrive in Brisbane in two days from the email, and be delivered a few days after that - I was really cross at the poor customer service from the agent I was dealing with. I would not recommend her to anyone, though I do think your firm overall does a good job.
I was very impressed, the only area that you fell down on whas the marking of boxes and inventory. The writing was illegible, many boxes werent marked with what they had in (and due to not being able to read the inventory) it made knowing where these went. So if you mark the the boxes and make the inventory readable then you would have got 5 stars from me. Thank you for your good customer service your staff are very good.
