"Overall disappointing"
Overall disappointing. I was told and expected the entire shipment door-to-door to take between 6-8 weeks. After 11 weeks it finally turned up.
NZ service was very good. Office lady (Elizabeth) was helpful and the guys that picked up the gear were on time and friendly. Most of the items were self-packed, but the only ones that seemed to get damaged/scratched were the the wooden items (cot/drawers) that were packed by Conroy. (Didn't notice the damage until after the Aussie guys had gone).
Aussie service seemed disorganised.

"I was a little nervous"
I am thoroughly impressed with my experience with Conroy removals. The two guys who collected our belongings in Brisbane were polite, extremely professional and friendly. I wanted to remember their names when I gave feedback but unfortunately I have forgotten. When our belongings arrived in Melbourne they were delivered by Trevor and Tony and again they were very profressional, polite and extremely efficient. These four men are truly assests to your company. I have used other removalists before, mostly short term moves but one interestate move and although they have been pretty decent overall there has been a few minor scuffs on furniture, the removalists didn't always carry furniture carefully and at times I have felt they were unprofessional etc. Conroy was the complete opposite of my previous experience! I was a little nervous moving interstate but the whole experience right from the beginning when requesting a quote has been so easy. I even received a call from Jaymee prior to the move to see how my packing was going.
I really can't express how grateful I am to you all that this move has been so simple and easy.

"excellent communications"
I received excellent communications from your Karen Lindsay, often with blinding speed. That was refreshing after the sluggish and error-prone communications with the U.S. shipping company. And surprisingly important, as the blizzard of forms requiring action for my humble handful of shipping items continued in Australia.. The only hiccup was a sudden invoice for $41 that you forwarded from Customs, for "wine tax". Which I managed to get voided at Customs, on the basis that I had shipped NO wine.
The only small problem was the rough handling of my 13 boxes by your delivery team outside my residence. Who I noticed had them higgedly-piggedly in the truck, not stacked. .The apparent result was 4 boxes that had broken tapes. But the contents seem all present.

Very professional, very easy. No issues at all from initial contact through to receiving my goods in Australia.

My husband took delivery of the boxes in Sydney and he could not praise the guys highly enough. He was very impressed with their efficiency and friendliness. By all accounts, they went out of their way to be helpful and ensure that we had everything in the right places. We will certainly be calling you if we ever return to England.

"No damaged for our baggage"
Informing the current status with timely manner was good. No damaged for our baggage.
I'm left extremely unsatisfied with Conroys, having previously used Conroys to move from NZ to Australia it made sense to use your company again when i returned home.
However arriving back into NZ and dealing with conroys at this end has been incredibly frustrating, I have been spoken to appallenly by your warehouse/delivery manager and by a truck driver who turned up at my property without permission or arrangement and then he went on to be rude to me over the phone - i lost a days income dealing with this and with no apology or consideration from Conroys. After the movers refused to unpack my goods as per what you had charged me for them to do, i was left to unpack all the boxes on my own (again a service i had been made to pay for) only to find things were broken in the boxes, and on top of that i have been waiting 3 weeks now for your branch manager to call me to discuss. Unacceptable for the thousands of dollars I paid for this move.
