"straight forward information about the whole process"
Excellent service that goes above and beyond compared to the competition. We had never heard of Conroy Removals before we had looked them up for the big move overseas. Every other company we had approached beforehand seemed to offer a less complete package, which required us to arrange multiple services from multiple companies. The quotes and information were always vague and inconsistent and no one seemed to know how the entire process worked (from point A to point B), which made it difficult and expensive to plan for.
When we had finally found Conroys, it was refreshing to be given straight forward information about the whole process, with clear and reasonable quotes. We were especially grateful that they provide the option for a full service package, which they cater to their clients needs. We had asked for delivery from the shipping ports to our apartment, which made our lives a lot easier, as we didn't have to worry about arranging temporary storage at the port, or delivery to our apartment. Everything was received quickly, in one piece, and without any issues. They kept us up to date through the whole process and communicated with us often. They even contacted us to arrange a delivery day and time slot that suited us, so that we wouldn't be left waiting around or wondering about our boxes. Great service - we would definitely recommend it to anyone.
"I had to wait for > 3 weeks"
I was told to get my house hold things moved with in a week time however I had to wait for > 3 weeks. Some of the items were broken but I was never told about base excess for replacement at time of booking for Insurance.

I hired movers to move the big heavy things - 8 (EIGHT!) big heavy bricks were left behind. All of the people involved with helping me move have serious back problems and we had to lift and carry those bricks ourselves. NOT happy about that.

The whole process, from meeting with your agent in Melbourne to the packing, removal and dispatch, was courteous, pleasant, informative and well priced. I received emails informing me of the completion of quarantine and customs checks, and the very useful information of which ship and ports my belongings were coming to me over seas. This information was helpful and considerate, excellent customer service. I thoroughly recommend Conroys door to door services.
"Very impressive"
It took some time to get the shipment through all controls and we were in a hurry. However, Conroy managed to speed up the process and the delivery guys did an excellent job. Very impressive.

Saff really very cooperative and flexible.The information provided both from Canadian and Australian Staff was excellent. The only major problem that arose was from information not provided, and a lack on my part arising from my not asking the appropriate questions. To be noted is that there was absolutey no damage to the items shipped by Conroy.

"All in all I guess the move was ok"
I was reasonably happy with the Melbourne side of the move. My husband was still in NZ for another 6 weeks so was moving into the house just with my daughter. I guess i expected everything done like my washing machine hooked up, mirror put back onto the dressing table, fridge feet level rather than wobbling - which none of this was done. The guys were very nice to deal with but in a hurry to get out of here. I havent claimed as yet for any breakages but there were a few things damaged - this may have resulted in packing from the Auckland end. Broken drawer on an office desk, broken glass bowl, broken panel on outdoor table, one of the mattresses must have been stored on its end (has a big hump in it now at one end). All in all I guess the move was ok given we were coming from NZ.
We were very happy with the starting process ,Justin was amazing.Once our stuff was removed from the house the lack of communication was apppaling considering we paid near on $12000.00 for your service.Promised pictures of wooden crate that was made for our Marble table and our stuff is here in NZ now and still no photo.Muck ups in charges twice we found unacceptable.Many times we were left to chase things up and waited days for response and sometimes not even getting a response. Still to this date we have no idea when our container actually left Melbourne let alone what ship it was on or its expected date of arrival .We made several calls to request bank details for the car cleaner and on one ocassion only we recieved his mobile number which was after the due date for payment,in the end Conroys paid him from monies owing to us by you.New Zealand counterpart has been in one word BRILLIANT. Really disappointed seeing as you were highly recommended by our dear friend whom used your services and Sharon. Our container to be dropped off next week to our new home. Regards Janet and Chris
