John Rowden provided me with valuable information regarding importing my motorcycle into new zealand that no other company informed me of...without this information i would have been up for thousands in taxes and duties or lost my motorcycle.....friendly,professional,and prompt is the only way to describe conroys.....thanks again, and if the need arises i won't hesitate in using conroys again.
"quick and helpful responses"
Jaymee Lorenz from the Brisbane office was exceptional. I apprecaited her quick and helpful responses to ALL of my questions; something of a novalty with customer service nowadays. She was great and would give her 5 stars. The New Zealand side of the office was not so good. My goods arrived in country on the 5th, I heard nothing by the 12th, so I called the office, to be told that "it should be around today, but not sure". Thanks, that is not helpful; especiialy as I ned to take leave off work to receive the goods. I rang three times, badgering the Operations Manager to get my goods delivered. Not happy with the delivery, but happy with everything else. That is why you have 4 stars, not 5.

Deliver staff were friendly and happy to oblige with my requests.
Not so happy with the staff picking up the goods in Sydney because they didn't follow the inventory I provided. My items were pre-boxed and numbered. The removalists created 3 more boxes of items by packing up a couple of my flatmates' shopping trolleys, table, and a large cooking pot.

We had a couple of broken glasses & my washing machine had been dropped & has had to be fixed. The guys that came to the house in Australia to pack were fantastic, very friendly & very professional. This experience with Conroys was great!

"honest and helpful"
Everyone was helpful. Justin who I initially met with at my home was excellent, thorough, honest and helpful and was one of the main reasons I chose Conroys over other companies. I like the frank information Conroy's gave me and helped clarify questions I had. They made it seem like none of my queries were silly or annoying.
I was surpised that only two guys were sent to do all the packing of my house but they did a good job getting it all done fairly swiftly.
Their assistance with connecting me to other service providers was also extremely helpful i.e. jetpets and the car cleaner

Very happy with Australian side of the business. Chch isnt so good. my goods were customs cleared and duties paid for last Friday. I didn't receive any contact and after i sent a e mail I was informed there isn't a delivery date set and that it would more likely be next week sometime/

Nothing wrong with Conroy's, just a bit slack this side. Eight days after I was informed my container had arrived still no invoice for unloading, storage etc etc. Conroy's want their money straight away, that I know.
Thanks for the opportunity to comment on our experience. It appears the container was damaged by the time it was unloaded in Dunedin. It could have been photographed before and during the unloading to simplify the process of claiming damages insurance Some items were not really packed well, and some items that should have been in the first consignment were actually in the second. Generally all the staff were very pleasant and helpful, however a bit more attention to detail would have been appreciated. Regards Ken F.
