I was very satisfied with my whole experince with Conroy Removals they kept me up todate from start to finish. I have told all my friends just how good they have been. If you need a removalist give Conroy Removals a call first.
"Customer care non existent"
The price went up nearly $1000. It stayed in a container in Brisbane over three months after pick up. Finally arrived six months later. Very rude removers. Customer care non existent. Would never use again or recommend.

As we haven't yet had our gear delivered, its been held up by bad weather, I cant really make a comment. As for the pick up in Australia it was excellent, very efficient and well packed

"disappointing overall"
Our experience was great from the Australian side of things however since our goods were collected on the 27th October and it's now the 8th of February we still haven't got possession of our goods even though they have cleared through customs already. The contact in Northern Ireland had mentioned they would be seeing what other deliveries were due in our area and after paying thousands for what we thought was an efficient service we now seem to be waiting on other customers which isn't good when you live in a remote area. Unfortunately this has been very disappointing overall.

Initially the service was great, I was given plenty of information and I was always able to speak to someone if I had a querey, however after payment had been made, my belongings collected and I had left the country I found that communnication was not so easy, on a few occassions I had to email multiple times before I received a response.
Overall the move took significantly longer than I had expected.

Helpful to understand what will happens when your car arrives in another country - what paperwork is needing to have your car compliant - a check list would be great. As if you don't have this paperwork with you, you can be in a bad situation and creates a nightmare. One of the packers took no care with some of my personal affects, just throwing them in the box with no wrapping to cushion them in the box, i.e. xmas decorations - did not look in the bag as to it's contents, threw in a box and they got crushed. Also, the owner of the freight should check all boxes arriving off the inventory, not the freight forwarding staff to ensure that the inventory is only checked by the owner, hence liability for items received is on them.

Myself and my husband were very impressed with the way the 2 gentleman packed up our house. They worked really hard and have done a super job. They were very friendly and professional.
The questions above kind of dont suit our situation. We had some issues with waiting for our stuff to get here, but that is probably more related to the removalists from our local area. Everyone I spoke to at Conroys were helpful and Garry and Mike who unloaded on such a hot day did a great job and were polite and friendly.
