Moving in the middle of a global pandemic is not easy but the Conroy team in Melbourne made it easier. They were easily accessible and Janelle went over and above in helping to make the move easier. The team of movers arrived when they said they would and were very efficient. I was concerned when one of the speakers was dropped in front of us. From the looks of things our belonging suffered more than just being dropped. Despite the boxes being marked fragile and being in boxes designed for moving records, over half the boxes were battered and damaged on the outside. Luckily the records themselves seem to have survived.
On arrival in Wellington, our experience went downhill. I have already spoken to the manager of the depot about my concerns around communication and managing expectations. I understand they are doing their best in a trying time but it was frustrating to not have clear delivery times and to be left in the dark about what was happening. Finally when our goods were delivered, the bed head and a box of books were missing. After a day and a half the bed head was found and delivered in the evening. The poor guy had was left to lug the bed head upstairs while his partner waited in the truck. I ended up helping to take it upstairs. We are still waiting to find out where our box of books are.
So after a great start, we ended up being disappointed in the service and would not use Conroys to move our personal belongings in the future.
Very efficient, competent and easy to comunicate with. I appreciated having all the quarrantine and customs paperwork organised as well.
We used your services, based on packing and unpacking and removal of materials. As well as delivery time. However when our boxes arrived they were not unpacked and the materials were not taken. Our boxes were packed and picked up Begining of November and only arrived May, 6 months, way longer than the originaly advertised time 16 weeks.
other than that it was pleasent to deal, we only recieved the items today and have not yet gotten around to unpacking to see how the items did.

I am not sure how I can give you an overall experience as I still haven't received my goods.
Due to Covid 19 everything was put on hold, I am still waiting. I can't say that the communication from the NZ end has been great, that could be due to the fact that people were working from home. Plus, I certainly wasn't happy to be told that I was going to be charged for storage because my goods couldn't be delivered.
It wasn't down to me that my goods couldn’t be delivered and it was wasn't down to Conroy’s that you could fulfill your contract to deliver them. Covid19 wasn't anyone fault, but I still don’t understand why I was going to be charge. So, no not happy.
I have now just received a phone call telling me that my goods are ready for delivery. What seems to be ironic, is that I had email Sophie in Tauranga plus also speaking to another person explaining in detail that I was stuck in Auckland and that I had arranged another person to oversee my delivery, so could they please make contact with that person when my goods were ready for delievery. The messages weren’t passed on as the guy that rung me to make arragements had no idea. So again, "communication"
I can say that my household item and personal belongings were pack in Perth and my service was good. I would have liked a little bit more detail put on my copy of the inventory I received after everything was packed up, plus it’s not really legible .
Would I use your service again, I am not sure on that, Would I recommend Conroy's to other's if I went from my past experience with Conroys yes I would

Good service and communication; however I am still waiting to receive a refund of $400 - bank account details for the refund were provided a month ago but I am yet to receive the funds.
The service provided by Conroys was excellent. Every aspect from quotation to delivery has been faultless. Due the the Covid-19 virus the delivery team in the UK were not allowed to unwrap or unpack any items. However it gave us the opportunity to see just what a fantastic job the team allocated to us in Tumbi Umbi, NSW did with the wrapping and packing. We did not have a single broken or damaged item in the whole container. Please say thank you on our behalf to our brilliant team of packers. Pete & Dawn
Second time using your services for an international move. Both times communication has been quick and clear. Happy with delivery service too.
despite having some damage, the services and approch was great ( even with Covid).
Karen is very efficinet and helpful and Tom was a great front man.
I woudl defeintely use them aagin.
they also organised a great art hanger at the other end so it wnet very smoothly.
John was great to talk woth he was very helpful and effecient on assisting us move quickly. You guys really helped take out some of the stress. Very friendly and professional service from rhe first phone call to the drop off. We will definaty use Conroys again.
