Efficient
Very efficient and friendly
Some of our goods were packaged very well but some looked like they were just thrown in with no protective wrapping. This led to broken picture frames. My wooden coffee table was poorly wrapped and sustained damage. A piece of furniture was partially dismantled and the screws were lost. I left my bike rack ready to be packaged. When I unwrapped it the bolts were missing. I haven't been able to find them therefore it is now unusable. This is all so disappointing. One of the locks on my campervan was damaged. I suspect this was done at customs. When we received the campervan if was filthy. I paid a large amount for it to be steam cleaned. It was so bad that the passenger window was unable to open due to the dirt. I had been told that the campervan would be recleaned before I took possession, this was not done.

The boxes are still in customs so I don't know how and if everything will get here. I especially appreciated the updates on the progress.

The removalists who did our move were outstanding, not only were they incredibly nice they were efficient, careful and respectful of our belongings.
Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
We had 67 boxes, which took 4 crew a full day to pack. Had paid for full unpacking. Only 2 crew sent for unpacking. The senior of the 2 told us at the start " my elbow is hurting, we are 1 member short so we will do what we can". Same person gave the attitude through the day like he was doing is a favour. Damaged my TV box inspite of me telling him how to open it. By 2.30pm he said they couldn't do much more as they had to be back at depot by 4pm, at which point only 25 - 30 boxes were unpacked. My wife and me had unpacked 10 - 15 boxes ourselves during the day reducing their work. I felt I did not get anywhere close to the service I had paid for. This is my 2nd international move. Had no complaints with the 1st.
I was disappointed to find two broken pieces- an antique elephant ornament and a 1980s gum ball machine. Unfortunately both under the $500 insurance excess I would have to pay to make a claim. Also my television power cord was apparently not packed. I know it was connected to the television just before the packers arrived at my house. Now I have to see if I can buy one here. I was however impressed with Janelle in Melbourne. She kept me totally informed with what had to be done and where things were at.
Car arrived in good condition.
