The NZ team who packed and moved the gear. THE au team and the drivers who delivered the gear and then those who collected the boxes could not fault any person along the way. Amazing service.
I was recommended Conroy's by a friend who obviously had a much better experience than me! .... the blokes who loaded our furniture in Victoria were lovely and I assumed knew what they were doing, it all seemed to go smoothly I thought. When the Qld blokes, who were lovely also, arrived at our new residence in Woodgate to unload, they too were disgusted with the way the load was packed in ... and then as the load was unpacked we discovered the amount of damage we have had to our furniture. Quite frankly I am verrry disappointed as it's not only one or two things, it's several, a lot of them antique and all very dear and special to me! ... it has resorted me to tears I'm afraid! On one of my leather recliner's it is covered in blue paint which is apparently from rubbing on the inside of the container, it clearly was NOT wrapped in a blanket or rug or whatever you do! The same with one of my fridges, it's all scratched and got blue paint on it! ... I also had several CD Stackers which hold about 90 CD's each, apparently one of those fell from up high in the truck while still being loaded in Euroa and they just threw the broken stacker and all the CD's in a box and I didn't know anything about that till it came off the truck here in the box, but my partner Bruce saw it in the truck just after it had fallen! Several of those Stackers are all broken and will now have to be replaced! I had a nest of 3 coffee tables and there are 2 legs broken off all three of them! How does that happen? I had a beautiful old solid antique Granfather Chair and the back leg is badly broken off it! ... and it goes on ... there's heaps more! I'm afraid that words fail me! Also, we are still waiting on another part load to arrive and have not heard one thing about it since it left Euroa, I would like to see it arrive soon too, or at least hear something about it! I'm sorry I can't write too much in a positive way, I just feel fairly gutted by the amount of damage to my furniture, and I do believe it could have been avoided, as obviously the Qld blokes thought too, they were appalled by both the damage and the way it was loaded! ... I can't really say anymore! ☹️
We have used Conroy Removals 3 times now and have always found it faultless. Everything from the quote to delivery went exceptionally well. Not one breakage each time and the men that pick up and deliver the furniture are the best, they are friendly, very professional, and caring. We couldn't have asked for a better service.
We were. very pleased with most of our experience. Not being at the site of departure ourselves, we are very pleased with Conroys. Everything seemed to be packed well into the container. On arrival at our property, it was difficult as the driveway of our new property badly needed some work done to it, our only complaint was that the driver spent an awful lot of time in our toilet. It appeared he was not well, and with the way things are at the moment he would have been better not working at all. The other young chap was very nice and did a wonderful job.
Three months and 18 days to get from Hong Kong to my home in Queensland. Was quoted 6 to 8 weeks. Shipment sat in Hong Kong for 5 weeks. Many boxes were crushed. However, delivery staff did a great job.
Removalist who attended delivery complained that the boxes where too heavy to the point my wife had to assist with carrying boxes!
Boxes where left on doorstep for Kaori Davies to move from doorstep to house.
Paid for unpacking and disposal of packing materials which was not carried out as per specifics of contract.We will request Conroy is not used for our next international move and be recommending to others in the expat community not use either.
This will be raised with our logistics partner, "Move Japan", who provides excellent survice through all international moves.

Professional, courteous,on time and efficient. We have used Conroys a number of times now and recommend without hesitation.
Text updates were mostly great, however I didn't get notified about the final delivery date until a call the day before.
The guys doing the delivery were excellent.
We understand the challenges with shipping and can accept the long delay experienced. What we don't accept is the poor communication and lack of customer service. A number of fragile items were broken and team could care less. Sales person lied to secure the sale. On a positive note the packets were excellent. New Zealand manager didn't even have the courtesy to respond to our complaint and passed it onto someone else which is indicative of the lack of customer service experienced. Overall a very poor service and would not recommend
