Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersFrom quote, pick up and delivery this company were absolutely fantastic. The men that loaded and unloaded my daughters goods were friendly and helpful.
Many items were damaged (we haven't opened all the boxes yet) more concerned about some of the limited addition items. New house has been fully renovated and painters warned removalists about fresh walls etc. No care was taken and the walls are now scratched and dinted. Items were leaned up against walls after countless times of being told not to. Walls now need to be repainted and patched but painter can't come back until next year. Very upsetting considering the paint work was perfect.
Janelle in customer service was great thats the only area I was happy with.
From start to finish the communication has been prompt and in detail.
The guys who wrapped and picked up the goods were friendly and hard working.

Our experience with Conroys was excellent. Gary and Rhonda kept us well informed. To be honest, I had quotes from 3 companies and Gary was the one who kept in contact and followed up, which is the reason why we selected Conroys. My only disappointment was the delay in devanning and arranging the biosecurity clearance. Our shipment delivery has been delayed 25 days. I am however grateful, we will have our possessions just in time for Christmas.
Staff are friendly, efficient and reliable.
I was very happy with communications with office personnel, and the men who delivered the two containers and unloaded to my storage units were very helpful, professional and polite.
However the Conroys repack from Immigration/customs into container resulted in a glass table top inlay to be broken, which was confirmed by your men on the day.
Also Conroy's 200+ inventory list was useless because numbers didn't match items. Resulting in customer (me) having to manually write each item and number down on paper to check it off, as it came off truck for 4.5 hours. Instead of being in storage units so I knew where things are I need to sort through for further insurance claim issues.
2 of the men went above and beyond, and stayed 7- 1130am to complete everything properly , however the first container drivers were only booked by Conroys for 2 hours to unload the entire truck into 3 separate storage units, and were scheduled to do another job, so they were anxious to dump and go.
The lack of inventory list caused delays.
Overall this job got a higher rating and recommendation based on one person's , Amanda Roza (office staff) communication and the amazingly helpful 2 drivers.i wish I had their names.
And everyone deserves a second chance.
All went well, no problems
Hey guys, just wanted to say that i would love to break up the score i gave into some parts...
Firstly, the delivery team who did the unload were brilliant and deserve a 10/10, Shane specifically was incredible to have on the day and i want to make sure he is recognised for his work! He turned up at the advised time, arriving by himself and proceeded to unload almost the entire container by himself, all the while being the consumate professional and just an all round good bloke! Shaq, once he arrived on site was a great guy too, helpful and professional as well and the pair of them made my day less painful all around. This was an important thing, as i was at home by myself on the day, as my wife was overseas for work on the delivery day, and i had no help from any friends or family either.
The reason i was not able to give a full 5 stars however for the service, is that the expectation management part of the delivery was, in my opinion, quite poor. I spent more time relying on the tracking information provided for the container, rather than any proactive communications from you guys. Likewise, i was called and given less than 24 hours notice that the delivery was going to occur. This resulted in me being by myself to handle the delivery, and not able to seek any help from friends or family on the day of the unload.
I appreciate that there is always fluidity in the dates and times you can give, however, i found myself at multiple occasions trying to seek updates on the status of my delivery independantly of either you guys or Anglo Pacific via either the tracking link provided by Anglo Pacfic on the Hapag Lloyd site OR via infromation from Marine Tracker about the vessels the container was on. For you guys to have a full 5 star review, my suggestion would be that if you should provide even best estimates as part of your 'delivery update messages', the container tracking portal on Hapag Lloyds wesbite was more useful for me, as it provided estimated times (even if they did shift too!).
