Our items arrived on time and in perfect condition
From initial enquiries right through to the delivery of our household items we knew exactly what was going on. The communication was outstanding and the transition from the Napier staff in NZ to the Brisbane staff in Australia couldn't have gone more smoothly. Our items arrived on time and in perfect condition.

The guys were friendly, efficient and quick at that job
The guys were friendly, efficient and quick at that job. Communication was great and furniture was picked up and delivered on time. I took off a star as a couple of items were broken sadly. I understand this can happen especially with antiques and mid century furniture like mine.

On the day of packing. We had one person turn up to pack the entire home, they were there all day and clearly by the end of it had just had enough. The final box that was packed contained our subwoofer and a canvas painting that he had forgotten to pack, this was packed in a huge box far too large for the item with no packing materials at all!! The canvas was of course ripped and ruined. In addition to this we were advised by the packer that should any items not be likely to pass quarantine, that he would let us know. He packed up a ladder that apparently had cobwebs on it and a wheat bag which is not allowed in at all without treatment. It cost us $307 to simply dispose of these items on arrival as they wanted $198 alone to CLEAN A WHEAT BAG. I understand this was quarantine but the packer should never have allowed them to go in the first place. in addition to this the communication around the quarantine items was woeful. I would never use nor recommend conroys ever again. I would like a response regarding the canvas as I do have an image of how this box arrived which was absolutely disgusting, we are so far unable to test if the speaker is in working order.

Very nice people when they came to pick up our items and furniture and when they delivered. Rude when items/furniture went missing. You call the Australian office and they pass you to the New Zealand office and you call the New Zealand office only to be told to call the Australian office. I will avoid next time and not recommend. Also you are in the business of helping people move so you will get a lot of customers where English is their second language. Someone told me on the phone "your accent is killing me". Please be respectful of your customers because without your customers you won't have any business!
