Very helpful
As part of my service for shipping my items from the UK to Australia, Conroy Removals helped with all the logistics, customs and quarantine clearances and delivery within Australia. Once the goods had cleared quarantine, I can say the Operations team were terrific and extremely efficient in arranging delivery (which was next day after quarantine clearance and final release), organising and agreeing times, communicating this to myself. The goods were delivered when expected and the delivery men were very helpful in unloading this to its designated position.
Unfortunately prior to this, the communication of what would happen once the goods arrived in Australia, and prior to Quarantine clearance was not so clear. I appreciate that a text message with updates was useful (and very hands off) but it would have been clearer if an email was sent in advance explaining the process and that it would take up to 31 days for my goods to clear customs and quarantine. Nevertheless, when I contacted Conroy for clarification they were very helpful. I think with this one extra email, it would have made the process clearer.
Very impressed with the service
Being an 85-year young woman I am very impressed with the service I received from you. From packing, getting the right insurance and keeping me in touch all the way. As I was already in Australia before my effects were even packed and collected my mind was at rest. I would recommend this company for anyone on the move. Thanking you.

I did make the effort that all details re days for removal were made aware to the driver, and that I required weeks notice for the apartment management. This got lost somehow so my move was pushed out two weeks, which was ok because I'm staying with my Dad, but if I was paying rent it would have mattered to a degree. The team of Lance and Ben were brilliant and went out of there way to assist. They are a great assest to the business.

Our delivery was arranged for 7am. No one turned up and I rang Conroy at 9am. Turns out the delivery booking was lost in the system and hadn't been arranged. Delivery was rearranged for the following day however no compensation was offered.

While the guys on the site for the unpack were great, I was thoroughly unimpressed with the communications throughout the process of the arrival, customs clearance etc. This will be obvious by any review of the communications. The agent assigned was never available by phone and only contactable by calling the main number for the company (as obtained via a Google search). Any initial requests via email for a phone call to clarify the process BEFORE it happened were ignored. Thoroughly unimpressed.

Some issues with the standard of packing in Townsville, some items extemely over packed, which amused the unpacking team in NZ, a lot of space wasted with many boxes containing very few items. Other items were not packed well and damaged.
Packers damaged our property as well, with their truck hitting our fence and air conditioner. Conroy's covered the cost of this damage.
Loss of our king size mattress was an issue, the item was found a week later and has taken another week to deliver.
Service was good
Despite some of our items being slightly damaged upon arrival the overall service was good.

A total pleasure to work with from pick up to delivery. We couldn't fault a thing. Thank you to all the team for looking after our shipment so well.
There was a bit of a mess up with the inventory volume vs the expected pickup volume - but this was sorted out right away on the pickup day by Kim over the phone along with plenty of support and help from Jay on site. Everything ran on time, the load was very well packed and 100% of our goods arrived in great condition. Was very happy with the service and would absolutely use again.
