The people I dealt with were lovely which is why I have raised my assessment from 1 to 2. My goods were not correctly packed in Auckland and I can compare my Conroy experience with 6 international moves with other companies over the past 20 years where not a single item was damaged or broken on any of those occasions. Damage includes: large reference books shoved into boxes many of the covers and sleeves damaged, two large photo frames were wrapped together and damaged irreparably when they were dropped on their corner and they did not have any protection for this, an entire set of glasses crushed, a large platter and a fruit bowl on a stand were not just chipped but broken to bits (part of a set - over 30 years old), lamp shades placed inside a cabinet and left to roll around the inside of it and have dents. All of my wine glasses were wrapped in pairs and we found them lying down not standing up. The platter and fruit bowl were placed in the same carton as my heavy kitchen appliances, bookcase shelving was dropped or not stored correct. The final straw, my little rubbish bin was not packed and the chap said everything was packed up, he would include it when they got back to the warehouse. Naturally this didn't get done. Our 2 movers who arrived with our belongings were A+. Friendly, courteous and ever so helpful. Thanks guys!
Very Professional I was very happy with the service & the team who came out to the house & loaded the container for storage.
Once my new house was built I rang for my container to be delivered & had no problems the Team was very professional great bunch of people.
Also a huge thankyou to Karen Lindsay who looked after me with this process very professional.

The two guys who delivered and unpacked were fantastic, they both worked incredibly hard, were polite and informative at all times, and were super clean and efficient in unpacking. They represented your company suberbly.
After the looking on the Facebook page "hoki mai " it made sense to go with Conroys was well looked after and no issues at all !! Thanks to the Perth and Napier teams for making the move home nice and simple
The moving guys were great, they were also delivering stuff out of storage & only realised we were missing a whole lot of stuff once they made delivery, not the best way to start our day or theirs. Poor communication for them & us, so not really sure if we would use you again or recommend you if it wasn't for the great stuff you have working for you.
Hi, I have rated you as Yes I will use your services again & would recommend you but really not sure that I woul, when our goods arrived from storage there was a whole bunch of stuff missing & the guyts were great but had no idea that there was missing stuff & had to get anotehr truck bring our stuff later, not the best way to have experienced us getting out stuff which had been in storage with you for sometime. Communication was poor.

the experience up untill delivery with Conroy’s was ok. However the guys who delivered our boxes were fairly lazy. We paid to have all belonginjngs unpacked and put away and rubbish removed. Thr 2 guys were extremely reluctant to help upack. My partner and I ended up doing almost all of it, they took the rubbish away.
when it can to the unpack they kept disappearing I guess down to their truck to avoid doing it.
they said they could not unpack and put things on the floor, this should have been communicated to us earlier at the time off booking so we could prepare. Even so they were not proactive in finding a solution to complete their job that they had been paid to do.
i would like a partial refund for the cost we paid for the unpack as we did not receive this part of the service

Gary was great in his visit to assess the house for a quote, and flexibile in meeting my time and money requirements. Isaac & his crew were fantastic - for packing day and moving day. Really friendly, super fast, very efficient and thorough - no damages, no breakages, very happy with the whole experience - thanks Conroys!
The service in NZ was good no issue with the help I recieved on that side. Things fell apart in Australia largely. I was told that the items I was shipping weren't mine repeatedly. An incredible statement to make, the origins of that I am unsure it maybe customs but it was without any factual basis. Theitems shipped were personal effects that were stored by me at my mothers for years as we moved to Australia in 2012.I hadn't moved some items over at the time becuase we wrere apartment living in Sydney at the time. Most items were from my childhood and not essential to daily life. My mother died recently and it came to crunch time. So there were all these theories perhaps as to what I had shipped. I said repeadtly open the fricken boxs if you dont believe me.The whole customs fiasco was most annoying. Secondly, it seems to me at least that 'Conroys Australia' is in fact Chloe Strong she is Conroys. If Chloe goes on leave, 'tough luck' you wait. She does a great job I am sure, but your staffing seems a bit thin on the ground and there seems to be no plan B should Chloe disappear for days. I will leave that with you to ponder. The truck driver you contract delivered the goods exactly ontime as requested so that guy is a keeper.

Moving country is always stressful, Conroy's services helped make my experience less stressful by their effciency and helpful staff. Pickup and delivery at both ends was painless. I would definately use them again.
