"I COMMEND THERE WORK EFFORT"
The delivery took place on 3 Nov 15. Initially we were informed that owing to the distance from SYDNEY AND THERE BEING TWO CONTAINERS, THAT THE DELIVERY WOULD BE OVER TWO DAYS. aS IT HAPPENED ONE LARGE TRUCK BROUGHT BOTH CONTAINERS ON THE SAME DAY - THIS WAS VERY PLEASING. tHERE WERE ONLY TWO BLOKES TO UNLOAD WHICH SUPRISED ME, NOTING THE SIXE, HOWEVER, THEY WERE EXCEPTIONAL AND COMPLETED THE UNLOAD IN ABOUT 5 HOURS. i COMMEND THERE WORK EFFORT.

"It was a horrid experience"
The actual Melbourne delivery last week was fine and Tony & Trevor did a good job. Unfortunately the issue was in the original pack from Melb to Syd in early 2013 where a number of my items were damaged including a leg damaged on my dining room table, damage to 2 X tv cabinet set, broken chest of draws, screws and legs were lost from my bed... Among other things. It was a horrid experience. Some items went straight to storage in Melbourne and whilst I haven't unpacked it all as yet, I have already found more damaged items as a result of poor original packing - art work not wrapped individually so frames are scratched requiring reframing, a smashed large platter... Then it seems more items of mine were damaged in the return move from Sydney to Melbourne. A table leg was broken, vacuum cleaner head broken off the handle, and more screws from my bed were missing, meaning the movers couldn't even put my bed together for me. I am now required to put in another round of insurance paperwork, spend time get quotes and no doubt fight with the insurance company etc. (first round was +/- 3 years ago with original corporate funded move and as at today, the only compensation Conroys offered was to cover my excess which was never paid as the organisation covered that cost). All very inconvenient and frustrating as well as disappointing for professional movers. On a positive note, Sharnie was lovely to deal with as was Mark (?) at the Dandenong depot when I had to pick up items early. So sadly, not a good experience for me at all.
A+ service from Annalise, made the move so simple.
