The guys who delivered were great.
We were quite disappointed with the packing service. A team of 3 arrived on the first day, only for two of them to leave shortly after and left 1 poor guy to pack the entire house. After 10 hours he had barely made it through half the house. The following morning a team of 5 arrived to finish the packing and uplift, which was fine, and the got the job done. However, had we not already moved the entire downstairs ourselves in the days prior (we wanted to make a headstart), it would have taken them another full day to complete the packing. Our expectation was that the uplift would begin first thing on the 2nd day, which would give us the maximum time to unpack at the other end, and that the boxes would also be itemised. This was our experience when we previously used Conroy Removals approx. 20 months ago when moving from Melbourne to Brisbane, and the service then was excellent/highly professional (5 star). This time around for our local Brisbane move, the service was not up to the same standard, and we were left feeling like it wasn't great value for money.

Was a breath of fresh air on the Australian side, I was having communication issues from NZ and as soon as I was in touch with the Australian service, it was next level. Clear comms on delivery, we were missing a TV and that communication was amazing. I was so so impressed by the guys that delivered our furniture. they we efficent/ kind and very professional. Thank you again!
They need send clear estimation when the items will be transported and send status updates in more real time

Great Service
Great service, flexible with dates, no need to book too far ahead, professional polite people, very careful with the load. I also liked that the container is packed and stored, as opposed to packed and unpacked into storage. Estimate was impressive too, they get you to guide them through the house and show what you need to pack away and do the estimate of the required container size. Plenty of packaging materials available at no charge as I had a couple of boxes worth of stuff still after packing. Definitely will go back to Conroy and recommend to friends.
The gentlemen who delivered our goods to our Australian address were fantastic. They moved carefully and skillfully about the property so as not to damage the walls etc. Very impressed with their service.
Improvement being highlighted items from our mattresses being scuffed and dirtied as the bags ripped in random places during the transit.
I was very pleased with the overall delivery except for two issues. When they arrived the men took very long to come inside and start until I went out to query with them second they didn't think anything of walking directly into carpeted areas asking questions as to where the goods needed to be left and that could have been avoided if they asked me before they walked in as they did. We don't wear shoes in our home let alone on carpeted areas so this made for more cleaning up after. Overall a good service with afew tweaks that can be improved on.

Due to the following concerns we would have given your company 5 star rating: 1) we were charged for 75 boxes but actual count of packed boxes were only 45 boxes so overcharged for 28 boxes. This maybe was because the quote was done by video call not actual count on site. I emailed our sales rep on 28 March who made the quote for amendment of the quote and refund for the overcharged items. We are still waiting for his reply. 2) 5 items were missed out and left at your warehouse. But I got an email today that they are in the warehouse and someone will contact us for the delivery. Hope we can be refunded for the overcharge cost of 28 boxes.

We had our belongings picked up the first week of September, 2023. We just received delivery of our goods--almost 7 months later! Not exactly expedient.
Good things: arranging for transit was smooth; service folks who came to pack up and remove our belongs were EXCELLENT; delivery once the US company picked up the goods from the warehouse was also EXCEPTIONAL.
Things that need improvement: communication--even if I followed up on to where we were in the process, response time was not any where near timely. Obviously, taking seven months to ship my belongings is not any where near acceptible. I could not in good conscience ever consider recommending this company or consider ever using them again. Disgraceful service.
