Excellent experience with quoting and packing. Communication was bad as to container progress - first we were not informed that container was being held back because a half load. Secondly tracking information of its passage was poor - we had to make repeated requests for info. Most goods travelled well. There was evidence of some violent impact with two broken display plates and a crushed Tiffany lampshade. Black&Decker workbench winder handle broken. Grandmother clock pedulum badly wrapped with sticky tape directly onto the metalwork. Delivery team did job well apart from some minor damage to building paintwork and some chipped masonry. Extra delivery charges came as an unpleasant surprise and should have been disclosed in advance. Customs clearance was quick and easy.

We have relocated more than 8 times over the past 2 decades, and have had plenty of "not so great experiences" with others. Overall the move with Conroy has been very positive. The handover between the different teams in the business went smoothly, and everyone that we have dealt with has been very professional and responsive. Great work!

Having used Conroy services from Perth to Tauranga in 2018, we decided to use Conroy again to move from Tauranga to Brisbane. The initial quote I was given was way below the actual final quote. I was told I got quoted wrongly the first time but no one took responsability or gave an apology for this. Communication around insurance was also difficult. On packing day, we kept being told wrong information e.g., some batteries were not allowed to be packed when I had been told we could take them. We had to call 2 different managers to finally be told we were allowed to take these type of batteries. This created extra stress on our moving day. At delivery, I was very disappointed with how things were packed in Tauranga this time around. I found clothes had been pretty much "thrown" in the boxes and arrived very messy, including my long designer dress. Pyjamas were mixed with our shoes... some items were jammed with random things... and our king mattress arrived dirty, as some of the protective plastic had been ripped off during transport. We also received broken items: 2 glasses, a bowl, a serving dish and a large salad bowl (due to beeing packed poorly) and one of the box is still missing. I had to contact the office 4 days later for an update and still no news of where the missing box is at this stage.

Efficient
The team were friendly and professional and work fast and efficiently, taking care while they offloaded and unpacked the boxes. We also had a lot less damages than we expected we would have.
