Gary and Jameee have both gone way beyond my expectations and making our move to New Zealand as easy as possible Jamie is a great administration young girl who was always professional she answered every question that I needed to have answered. Both of them always answered my emails or phone calls in a timely manner so I always felt that I was in control of the move and understood what was going on. I have already recommended CONROY REMOVALS to a friend of mine who will also be moving from Australia to New Zealand.

Moving is such a big undertaking. All Conroy staff were friendly and professional. They were also knowledgeable, all the questions I had (if there were any after the already excellent communication) they were answered immediately. I was also impressed with the help getting the car to NZ. It seems no detail was overlooked, my car was delivered to Brisbane by me ready for shipping but the carpets were still damp. Some kind soul put bags of silicone beads in my car to mop up any excess moisture, I was very impressed. I found everyone at Conroys easy to deal with and would recommend them to anyone wanting to make a move across the ditch.
The initial consultation, booking and payment process was great, as was the organisation of the pick up date and the collection of our belongings from Melbourne as we prepared to move to Vancouver.From there, we found everything to be very poor unfortunately. Our initial quotation listed an approximate transit time of 8-10 weeks, we were made to believe that this was door to door. As it turns out, the actual door to door time was over 19 weeks. Throughout the transit process we sent emails asking for an update on the location of our belongings and an estimated arrival date. All of these emails went unanswered until receiving an email from Conroy NZ stating our belongings had arrived in Wellington, NZ and were being prepared for unload. This was around the date that our belongings should have been arriving in Canada.
Further emails went back and forth with Conroy NZ staff to confirm the delivery location and arrival date into Vancouver. We were advised of a date approximately 16 weeks after the initial pickup. Unfortunately this date was blown out by another 2 weeks as the vessel transporting our container made additional return trips between Australia and New Zealand that we only found out about through vessel tracking sites despite being reassured that it was on its way to North America.
There were a few minor complications with the partner company here in Canada as they initially tried to charge us penalty rates for the delivery despite the delivery conditions being listed on the Conroy proposal. This was resolved satisfactorily, albeit through the New Zealand offices, not the Australian offices.
Delivery of our belongings was completed smoothly and efficiently.
The Conroy’s team went above and beyond for us. We cannot thank them enough.
Conroy removals are good at what they do .We were impressed from the start when they packed up our goods to delivery .We moved from Melbourne to Auckland so our furniture was sent by container .Their chaps are friendly, helpful and yet work fast to get the job done .We would definately recommend Conroy Removals .Look at all the other positive referals they have on their website .
