This feedback is only half the information at this time as I have only recieved half the shipment.
There are reasons for this, and partly it is because I caused confusion with two lots of items to be collected. There were sets of items picked up, as I had additional items after my mother passed away, I requested that my original items were delayed and everything shipped together. This was agreed.
But there were many delays in the pick up of the second set of items. There was an absolute lack of communication and I felt I was constantly chasing for updates. Items were picked up the day before I left the country.
When I did get hold of people, they were very friendly.
I did not realise, and I was not informed, that after all of the hassle the items were not shipped together and I have only recieved half the shipment. The other half has been in Auckland for over two months. No communicaiton.
I have been dealing with someone very nice in Australia to get my order through customs, paying duty etc. Thinking it was the full, combined shipment. I am concerned I will now have to pay duty fees again.
When only half the shipment arrived I rang Conroy NZ and find out that the rest was sitting in Auckland. Hopefully it will arrive this side of Christmas.
I realise that I caused some confusion with the two pickups and detailed list of items, but the lack of communication has been really frustrating.
The packing, pick up, and delivery teams were great, but in future I won't be using Conroy. Hopefully this feedback won't be held against me as I wait for all mum mother's belongings to arrive. :)
It's been 3 months still waiting
We had our goods collected on September 4th 2020, with a quote of 5-7 weeks for arrival. We are STILL waiting for our boxes. Your team in Melbourne gave us NO communication around the fact that there were port strikes and other circumstances that meant our shipment sat in Melbourne for six weeks after collection doing nothing, while we assumed they were on their way. Thankfully, the New Zealand team has been great with communication, and while sadly they've had to be the ones to deliver us the bad news, it was ultimately the Melbourne team's fault.
I would only use your services again if our goods finally arrive in good condition by the end of this month and we receive an apology for the severe delays on our shipment.
Australian side of things were nicer to deal with than the nz side of things. Janelles customer service was exceptional! Answered all my questions over the months without an issue
I already wrote this somewhere? My only disappointment was a broken handle on the sideboard. Its a 50’s vintage piece and trying to replace the now 2 handles is proving impossible so far. The handles should have had their own wrapping or been removed and stored in draws with the legs. Other than that, happy days!

Boxes were marked FRAGILE, HEAVY, TOP LOAD ONLY, THIS SIDE UP etc. It appears that there was no adherence to these notices by the various crews that handled the items - some boxes were crushed, other items were broken. It is difficult to determine when the damage occurred - during transfer from the shipping container to customs/quarantine, or during the various transfers by Conroy Removals from quarantine to truck to truck until delivery.
Your guys were amazing. They were efficient, and polite. I would ask, however, that you request that if they smoke, they don't do it on a client's property.
They were astounded at how awfully the UK team had packed everything. So many boxes are crushed because they weren't packed properly. We still haven't been able to find some of the fixings to put our furniture back together, but none of that is the Conroy team's responsibility. It is going to take me months to find all my stuff and find out what is damaged. If you'd like to give feedback to Clockwork at the UK end, you can tell them that I will not be recommending them to anyone. The slap dash approach to how our stuff was packed is appalling. It is a miracle that more isn't broken.
