Vela in Brisbane is awesome! Most helpful person ever, no question was too hard! It took a week and a half for my belongings to arrive after I received my 'your items are ready to be delivered' email - either it shouldn't of taken that long to get from Tauranga to Auckland or delay sending the email.
Conroy took care of getting everything out of my apartment, packaging it up and sending it to me in another country. Everything arrived safely and I really appreciated their service and reliability when I couldn't be there to do it myself.
The team at Conroy handled the inbound customs process and delivery of some furniture I relocated from the UK to Melbourne. The team were friendly and easy to deal with and the items arrived intact and undamaged.
The only area I would like to see improve is the communication between when the time when shipment had cleared customs (in Brisbane) and the day it was delivered. There was a no updates for some weeks and then a call out of the blue to say it would be delivered the following morning. I appreciate that freight between Qld and Vic is challenging at the moment, and this was only a part load. But with so much uncertainty at the moment - more communication rather than less would be have been better.

I made a complaint about the professionalism of one of the employees who was apparently sacked as a result. I had a follow up conversation with Dean on Friday 9/10 from the Perth office about some sort of resolution, as what we paid for we didn't get, half our stuff wasn't unpacked nor assembled. The staff member ruined a $5500 tv with the box cutter and was just generally rude. I don't want to deal with the Perth side of the operation, clearly they aren't up to it. I have yet to here back almost 1 week later. I have been left to unpack my house by myself, we have a 4 week old baby, as if moving country and having a new born isn't stressful enough.
Friendly and very efficient service throughout the removal process.
