To begin with, the volume I was quoted turned out to be grossly under estimated so I had to pay substantially more. Then it took more than a month to leave Auckland. After arriving in Melbourne, it was cleared on 8 April but not delivered untill 29 April, even though I pleaded to get it deliverd early. Meanwhile my house garage door was rammed because the house was unoccupied, making the house unsecure. As a result, I have had to rent a storage space to hold all my stuff at additional cost and incovinience.

Customer service at Conroy New Zealand is not really good. As moving to another country is a big move for everyone and most people are not familiar to the process. There is a lot of paperwork to be prepared as required by the moving agent. There are a couple of links to the forms provided by Conroy that was dead and does not work but when I tried to email the staff who was in charge of my case several times, she could not provide the forms and kept saying that they didn't have it, which I find ridiculous as they have worked with a lot of clients. They could always refer from their other clients.

Another thing is that I was informed that my vehicle needed quarantine treament which costed me almost $2,000 including steam clean. However, when I received the car, it was not cleaned at all and just the same as before I handed over it to them, there were still a lot of dust and some spider nets inside the vehicle.

The last thing is that the shipping time was too long. I was confirmed that the shipping time could take up to 12 weeks but actually I recieved my goods after 18 weeks.

Fortunately, my goods arrived in good condition which is the only thing that makes me feel happy.

Cannot fault the company and all individuals associated with our move. Particular shout-out to people performing the loading and unloading. Courteous, hard-working, communicative, friendly and competent. 

Please ensure that job scheduling doesn't overload these folks. Regardless of manual handling techniques, moves with access, egress and heavy articles hazards require work arounds and you only get one back.

Removal boxes arrived within the estimated time, and nothing was broken or destroyed. Great work.

The delivery drivers who picked up my stuff were great, the delivery drivers who dropped off my stuff were great. The person who came and did my quote, not great. He did not input everything into his tablet properly, resulting in me getting a smaller container than what I needed. I had a one king, one queen and one single matress - he put that I had two single matresses. I had a seven-seater couch - he put that I had a two-seater couch. When the delivery drivers put my stuff into the containers, it filled up a lot quicker because of the mistakes he made. Because of his errors, we weren't able to get all of our stuff onto the truck. We were heading interstate the next day, so we could not book another truck. We had to throw out thousands of dollars worth of stuff because Nigel did not input our furniture correctly. He gave us a 30ft container when we needed at least a 50ft. We threw so much of our stuff away becuase there was nothing else we could do. I have done a lot of travelling and never have I ever, overfilled a truck/container. If I had known this was going to happen, I would have gone with another company. I looked back at the quote I was given and there was no itemised list showing me what had been inputted. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the removalists themselves were great.
