Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersPowerpack with battery was stored on its side when it was unpacked for inspection and to be transported to us. Damage to battery and powerpack. Slowcooker damaged, dented. The rest of the consignment was fine.
Guys delveried , o.k., but a few boxes were crushed, also they made me fill in their forms, and not 100% time new what number the item was or were to busy, But I had my own list
so it was fine.
There have been a few emails that I sent which remained unanswered and I couldn't reach anyone via phone, but my goods cleared the quarantine and arrived without any issues in a reasonable time frame, so I am satisfied with the outcome.
95% ideal but just at the end, there was quite a delay clearing customs and my first delivery date was 2 weeks after the ship landed and just 3 dys before I was due to be out of town, I had to hurredly arrange a local contact to take delivery to avoid expensive storage fees, I understand the delays were outside your control but it all unfolded quite unexpectedly and quickly and caught me by surprise. Conroys staff were very helpful through all this I hasten to add.
Perfect service. I was kept up to date regularly and they delivery team was excellent too. I still need to check all my items are there and in good condition but that is a reflection on the entire process. Overall I am pleased with the service.
Overall very happy with Conroy's storage and delivery of our shipment from HK to Sunshine Coast (packed superbly in HK by Asian Tigers) - fairly good communication (some requests perhaps could have been replied a bit faster), frequent SMS and email messages on progress, they managed to arrange temporary storage in their Brisbane warehouse at a fair rate then delivered rapidly on our requested day. Delivery team were awesome - fast, attentive, careful and no damage or mould issues etc at all - Conroy also undertook to remove all remaining boxes/cartoons at a later date after we unpacked them to recycle them (great service). Only slight issue was a bill presented for local Brisbane Customs charges that we had already pre-paid in HK to Asian Tigers, but quite easily resolved - Hence happy to recommend overall and certainly at least 4 stars - would happily give 4.5 if we could.
Disappointed so far and service is still in process waiting for delivering when I find a place to live .Price was increased by $1400 after there sales person came out and inspected my container.Was told it could take upto 6 weeks before it would be ready which would give me time to find a place but within a week it cleared and now I, m having to pay $78 a week for storage .So busy and stressing now which should, t be

Conroy Removals NZ...Crap!
Boys unpacking ok, no-fault there. However, some items of my stuff were left at the Porirua depot, my understanding is it wasn't put back after fumigation (total lack of communication) In saying that, the outside gear that was supposed to be "fumigated" came on the first load, on the second load was 3 outdoor items and the rest was, faux Christmas tree, faux decorations, blankets, sheets, brand new, never been opened vacuum cleaner, none of these items had ever been outside????????????
the cost of my car fumigation was a disgusting amount $1360... that should have been explained to me on my initial meeting with Ryan,
I was absolutely out of pocket after that sting.... irrelevant as to whether Conroy is using an independent contractor for fumigations or not, the money is still collected by Conroys, therefore I suggest all your possible clients are informed of every financial detail!!!!!!!!
As for the admin side..... NZ, Frikken hopeless, I shouldn't have been calling Porirua, Hastings, Porirua, Hastings, etc over a week period to find out what was happening with items and vehicle, not at all, absolute poor form!
Would I suggest Conroy to others? only if the NZ side picked up their game substantially.
in the "Where can we improve?" boxes, I believe is pertaining to NZ Conroys solely.

previously the standard and delivery was very good when we first move to NZ in April 2017. However this time there were a lot of broken items from the move. I'm not sure if this was how things were packed or if they just were not looked after through the journey. Particularly disappointing was the corners of the TV cabinet being chipped.
service from all involved was good and we were kept well informed.
Kingsley was my contact person at Conroy and kept me up to speed with the shipments progress. Delivery of goods was fast efficient and on time. The team off loaded and placed my goods as requested. Damage to the wooden kists could have been from port of despatch to port of entry. We never claimed as not worth the agro, however, I'm sure Kingsley would have actioned if requested. Thank you Conroy
