I found the service here in Australia to be excellent. Megan in your Brisbane office was very attentive and responded very quickly to all my requests.
Coming from America there were two charges that I had to pay in addition to quoted costs. It would have been nice to know these up front, at least to know they were coming. I think this issue would reside with the American company, and not with Conroy. I also had paid for a professional piano mover at this end, but again this was not communicated through by the American company. The American piano mover was not as professional as the Australian one, and it appears there may be some damage to the hinges on the grand piano.

Damaged Items
Bad information given by first sales person which resulted in hectic packing by owners on day of pickup which was expected to be packed by Conroys. When items delivered at address in Melbourne the staff knocked six boxes off the back of the truck into the street, destroying and damaging items, no apologies given and very poor service in general for pick up expectations and delivery. All staff who did the pickup and office enquires where always polite and friendly.

Smooth Move
Final delivery was smooth, and overall pleased with the process. However, communication was choppy and inconsistent: the initial email i received stated that my goods had arrived at port, would take 10 days to clear, and I'd get another email as each step was completed. I then received an email 5 days later asking for a copy of my passport, but giving no update on the shipment status. The first concrete update came 11 days after port arrival, stating that everything had been cleared; more transparency during those 11 days would've been helpful. Delivery arrangments were also concerning: the same day I got the final clearance email, I got a separate email that "our operations department will contact you in 1-2 working days to schedule delivery." Two working days later, the same person emailed to say "I have tried to call the numbers you provided but it is advising the numbers are invalid", and "our crew are scheduled to arrive tomorrow between 12:30pm-2:30pm". This was frustrating, since all the numbers I provided were active/valid - they are international numbers, but Conroy is a business that manages international moves and should be very comfortable with international numbers. Also, the delivery was scheduled for the middle of a business day, with less than 24 hours notice, which does not seem reasonable. Once I called Conroy back, I was able to schedule a more suitable time the following day. I would use Conroy again, but would recommend others to be aware of this and manage communication accordingly.

Damaged items received upon delivery and was advised that your office would contact me within two to three days. Have not heard from anyone within that time frame.
A big thanks to Vicki at Perth for all her useful advice & help. Plus the guy that collected my stuff & the delivery guys in Brisbane were super friendly & professional. Great service all round
