"good experience"
Our furniture has been in storage with Conroy for 18 months. It was delivered to our new home exactly when we requested by a couple of very personable guys who seemed to be enjoying the work - even on a stinking hot day. Everyting was placed where we wanted, and most importantly there were no breakages or storage damage. All in all, a good experience and we would recommend without hesitation to anyone.

"fantastic at packing & unpacking"
Both teams in Napier & Brisbane were fantastic at packing & unpacking and we were very happy with the service. My only complaint is the storage fee. We were told by the person who came to measure & quote that our stuff could be held for 10 days without requiring storage however as soon as it cleared customs we were invoiced - we would have liked to be fully informed earlier & we would have arranged delivery earlier.

'Conroy have been bloody amazing'. From the moment I first spoke to John, right through to delivery to my house in Brisbane, the service has amazing. Never have I seen furniture so well wrapped and protected. I honestly thought that getting a few items over from my late fathers house would be an absolute nightmare, but everything went so smoothly. I would do it again - but hopefully I wont ever have to :)

"checking in process for items on delivery was deeply flawed"
The checking in process for items on delivery was deeply flawed; many items were not properly identified for checking off the inventory list so once everything had apparently been unloaded there were still 9 items that had not been checked off. There was no attempt to check and locate these items in the property apart from one I insisted on looking for, which was of particular value but could not be located; after the operatives left site I manged to locate 8 of the unchecked items but this 1 item remains missing and was not delivered to the property. Lots of items were left with their packaging on, which we then had to remove. Some items had been dismantled by the removal company for packing on collection, including bicycles and furniture, which were not reassembled but left in pieces for us to do. Several glass items were discovered broken when we opened and unpacked the boxes. The follow up for the item reported missing has been awful; it has been over 5 weeks now but there is still no proposed way forward and a complete lack of communication from Conroys, who seem to not want to deal with the situation and take responsibility or action, which is totally unacceptable.
I m still waiting for the delivery. It was set for 7/02. On my the morning of delivery I got a phone call saying no truck was coming to New Plymouth. Arrangements were made for a delivery on 8/02 between 5 & 6pm. I'm still waiting for the delivery. Lack of communication is appalling.
