It would be great if when corresponding with new to moving customers guidance or advice was given. A lot of forms and questions asked came with no explanation which made dealing with a deceased estate more stressful.

It was incredible to find everything in perfect order & nothing missing, thanks inpart too to WhiteSwan packing team of 12 in Thailand.

The crew did not assist with unpacking of cartons. Except for major items. My hair drier missing, pump for mattress missing and A very expensive full length imported coat missing. I specifically requested the assistance with the company in South Africa called Retief throughout This company assisted me with packing and unpacking because I paid for these services. But no such in Australia. Then my pedestal was damaged apart from assembling it incorrectly. The doors open in opposition. The vegetable rack items missing. The rack I asked to assemble was left on the floor. It is not only the screws but also the wheels. I asked for the original box so that I investigate I was told it is discarded already. So after going to the Web and searching the rack is redundant. I paid for these services with Retief removals. The sofa zip damaged completely. Very disappointed with the entire experience of relocation. The focus is not on service delivery but doing the bare minimum and get suck the customer for money. Unfortunately both the companies were poor. The focus is on claiming from insurance forgetting the sentimental value of these items. I would not like a response as companies from my experience protect themselves and are defensive. The reason is because I am single I am taken advantage of as there are no witnesses. So basically discriminated against as a consumer. I heard the one assistant telling she will handle the items of the carton so we can go. That's when I realised that I am been compromised. So basically between the two companies I would like to be reimbursed for the damages due to don't care attitude and items missing.

"The delivery team were fantastic"
I was not overly impressed with the initial communications form the Co-ordination team in Qld, which were very standard and not personalised. Nor did I feel they cared about my situation or urgency to have my goods. I had to push them for details and I'm glad I was able to get them to plan ahead and book a tentative delivery date allowing 4-5 days for customs/quarantine clearance because if I hadn't, it would be been another week for my delivery. I feel the Co-ordination team could be more empathetic and proactive when planning deliveries and I did not appreciate getting the stock standard corporate response.
However, once I was put in contact with the local Ops team in Perth, everything was amazing! The delivery team were fantastic and made it a fun day despite the high volume to be unloaded and unpacked. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Jeff, Mimbi and David for their efforts on the day (and Simon for his easy communications with planning). I was disappointed by a number of breakages and damage to some key items, but unfortunately my goods were double/triple handled so there is no way to determine where the breakages occured. I will take this up with the insurance company.
