"kept up to date from the start"
Good experience. Was kept up to date from the start. Only suggestion is to keep updating if delivery schedule slips.

More explicit communication regarding customs fees would have been appreciated. Many of the fees itemised on the bill were predicatable and standard fees that I would have expected to have been incuded in the original quote. Obviously additional services are unpredictable - but the standard fees are part of the cost of moving goods from one country to another.
"Not quite what we expected"
When asked to open boxes there was resistance about whether on the quote. Not quite what we expected after spending 8500 pounds on a removal service.

Moving back to Australia from the US I sourced a local removal firm who partnered with Conroys in Australia. From the ship, to the warehouse, through customs and in to storage no major problems However from storage to our home everything changed, the loading of our goods for the final delivery lacked any care or respect for our goods. Our hand made dining table was shoved in to the back of the container like a wall to hold back the shoddy packing. An antique gramophone was packed upside down despite all the arrows and fragile stickers. One foot was sheared off from being slid in rather than lifted in. Boxes marked fragile containing antique glasses and China where place at the bottom of the load. Cast iron bed frame placed on top of a antique piano, etc. I could go on but there's too much to describe. Short story, whoever packed for the deliveries should be retrained and the despatch manager fired. No care, no respect, just throw it in and forget it, make it the truck drivers problem. No follow up, no call back and we're still missing entire boxes from our shipment.
Thank you for delivering my chair quickly. Everyone was very helpful the delivery guys too.
